Its Terrific Tuesday!! So what will make your day terrific?? For me it would be to just relax and not stress about the surgery. I was so out of sorts last night after talking to the doctor and signing all the papers and getting the post-op info. It just made me realize this is real and it got scary. I was just in a bad mood trying to process it all. Or if it were truly a terrific tuesday, I could go get a massage to relax, but I think I'll wait until after the surgery when I know my body will be sore from the whole thing. My neck started hurting yesterday pretty bad and I think I'm just too tense, esp when I sleep. I'm just getting old I guess!!! LOL.

My review went fine. Got good scores on everything. This week starts work from home Wednesdays for me. I'm part of a pilot statewide with our agency that is trying out people working from home 1-2 days a week, for 3 months, to see if it would work. I chose 1 day a week at first- see how that works out.

Hope everyone has a fantastic day today!!!!

Not to rain on your parade, but how are you going to the Fair, going to Cowboys Stadium and making the Meet and Greet at 6PM?  They are in three different areas of the Metromess.  Good luck if you try it.

Hello George.  Oh no, we will not make all three...LOl.  We are going to split things up over the course of the weekend.  Tentatively, we are going to do the tour first since it is the farthest away and then make our way to the hotel.  We will do the fair early Sunday as soon as it opens at 10 a.m.

You had me worried there.  I should have known a leader would have a plan.  Hope you have a great time.  I am not a Cowboys fan, BUT.   That stadium is awesome.  I have to meet up with you and your BF just to discuss it.

Did you get in trouble over not being a Cowboys fan!  Don't feel bad because I live in Louisiana and I am not a Saints fan.  My BF and I are die hard Cowboys fan.  My brothers were fans so as a little girl you look up to them.  I can remember just about everyone from the glory days of the 70's team to name a few (Staubach, Jones, Dorsett etc) and of course the 90's team (Aikman, Smith, Irvin etc) See you this weekend for the discussion of the new facility.

I don't consider it trouble.  I consider it a disagreement.  Some people do not understand my passion for sports.  When you like one team, you normally dislike another.  Most Cowboy fans bathe in satisfaction when the Eagles lose.  That's the way it is.  I had a mother-in-law who did not see eye to eye with me, so naturally, she was a Cowboy fan.  That made it a necessity for me to dislike the Cowboys.  LOL.

And yes, we must get together for a little bit this weekend.  If you saw it on TV (I am sure you did), you will be even more amazed when you just walk in the doors.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

Good Morning Alissa and the rest of my TMB Family,

It's going to be a nice cool day here today I think.  I really do love this weather. Its my terrific for today.   Once it gets above 80 it is to hot.  Look at the averages for Dover yesterday for the month of November at it high 50's and low 40's.  Sounds wonderful.  I am kicking myself for not making plans to go to the confrence this weekend, but will live it through all of you I guess.  Not to much going on today.  I have Bible Study this morning.  I think I will leave a little early and take my camera.  I want to run around Burk and get pictures of some of my favorite places to have when we move.  I dont imagine I will ever be in a place again where there is live stock along the roads, or oil pumps.  So want to make sure I get those pictures.  Then home to do some laundry, and relax a little.  Might try and walk if it stays cool enough we will see.  Still waiting to hear from Pain Management doctor to set up the SI injection in the other hip.  I really want to get it done before driving cross country.  Mark has been having really bad back issues.  Wish he would see a doctor but he says he knows the exercises he needs to do...(such a man) I gave him a good massage and he said that helped.  Prayers this morning for all those in need, but special ones for Meggie, Justin and Susan, Alissa, Phyllis, LIZ, and Annette.  There are I am sure lots of unspoken prayer needs too just know I pray for all of you every morning.  Have a blessed day.  Love you guys.

Good morning everyone!  How's it going?  Sorry I wasn't here yesterday.  But it was for a good cause.  I had to organize my room so the Satellite people could come in and hook up new receivers and a new dish.  We have GREAT service now.  Same Dish Network, but new stuff!  We've been needing new receivers and remotes for a while now.  Fate stepped in and sent a rep to our door and ... wahlah!

Work is the same.  Not much going on there.  I'm running for editor of the union newsletter.  Several people I've spoken to are really glad I am.  The current editor just cut and pastes articles in and doesn't review the writing for typos or grammar or punctuation or anything!!  A lot of people are upset with that so, I'm running.  The meeting for nominating is October and voting is in November.  Here's praying to Allah that I still have a job by then!!

Speaking of which, I'm still putting in for jobs at other govt agencies.  Not getting any response yet, but it's still early.  You know how the govt works.  Slow and slower.

I started a FB page for postal workers.  It's called Working for the Eagle and I'm putting up information about our company and any news articles that come our way. If you know any one that would like to have this info, let them know about it.

Anyway, better get going and take a shower!  Ya'll have a great day!  Love ya!
