The NIGH****CHMAN - Sunday 9/20

Good evening all.  Football Sunday for most people.  I spent my afternoon at the Ballpark.  And walked away disappointed, but knowing this team performed so much better than expected on the season as a whole.

Speaking of football, my JETS beat the Patriots, so that was good news for me.

Yesterday's busy day went well.  I had to mutter three words I hate to use together... "Good game Cowboys."  My grandson plays flag football and his team is named the Cowboys.  We told him we would still cheer for him, but we may draw the line if he ever plays for a baseball team named the Yankees.

It was a good weekend overall.

Just so you know folks, you need to TAKE YOUR VITAMINS.

If you are new to the board, this link explains what the NIGHT WATCHMAN is (if you are interested).  Otherwise, just read on, you will probably figure it out anyway.

Sandi asks for prayers for her late coworker's (Renee) family, as died in a car accident this morning (9/15).

Vanessa (ButterflyReborn) asks for prayers for her family and for her and her spouse's health issues.

Vanessa also asked for a request for continued prayer for The Dunford Family and all of their friends, doctors, nurses, medical staff, and even all of the people that have never met Elizabeth or the Dunford's but have prayed for and/or have been affected by their story.  Elizabeth's pain is over but the real, deep pain has yet to begin - especially for Michelle.

Below is one of God's children that definitely need our prayers.  This is one specific cases, we know there are others out there.  Remember them too.

Gina J. - Pray for her 6 year old Marina, diagnosed with a terminal illness at age 2. She has improved, but still needs our prayers.  Pray for this brave little girl

Hey there my friend!!!
OMG....our new puppy is soooo adorable!  He is absolutely the darkest black I have EVER seen...where he is black, and the white areas are still turning white from their initial light brownish color.  He is such a sweet boy.  So far whenever I've taken him outside, he's done his "thing" and back inside he goes!  Tonight he went right into his crate without even so much as a whimper.  I'm sure he'll get up again so we'll see.  He whimpered on the way home so I got ahold of him and he just snuggled up by my neck.  After he stopped shaking and started to calm down, I gave him to Viktoria.  Sarah got to hold onto him too so she was all happy.  Now Heather, well, she really didn't want this little guy to begin with and she IS doing better, buuut, it didn't start off well as he kinda tinkled on her a tad when we picked him up.  She didn't seem to care (see, I'm hoping that's the nurse mentality already kicking in!!!) though so it was ok.  Tonight she played with him as did everyone else, thus, he's sound asleep in his kennel!

Hoping the rest of the evening is nice and quiet!

May the happiness continue.  We love our little pups.  All 85 lbs each of them.  Flyte sleeps in the bed with us, laying across the bottom of the bed, normally resting his chin on Mary's ankles.  Pride sleeps at the bottom of the bed.  Sometimes they will both just get up and go into the living room.  One will grab the chair, the other the sofa.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

Hi George;

I've had a wonderful weekend. I didn't realize how tightly wound I was and it was great to come up and hang with good friends and family and just be. I'm so thankful for my mom and step-dad taking care of the doggies for us.

We had a showing yesterday afternoon and another scheduled for tomorrow evening.

Tomorrow, I'll get up early and take Michael to DFW for his flight to ATL. Then, I'll come back, dress, go to Kinko's to print my new resume and cover letter and hand deliver it to Saks @ the Galleria. After I deliver that, I'll be headed back south for the week.

Have a good evening. Prayers for all who need them.

Blessings, Jennifer

Just heard from Phyllis.  On her way home.  Evidently she has vertigo.  BP was low, but they were not overly concerned with it (99/50), slightly dehydrated, but gave her vertigo meds.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

I have a prayer request for a biz associate of mine, "Brandon", and wow does he need them, Prayer Warriors!

I knew Brandon only by name from some car parts purchases I did from him in the past on Ebay.

Shortlyt before Labor Day weekend, I had emailed Brandon about the status of a part I had bought but not yet received from him.  The delay was very unusual for him.  I was surprised to get this long, detailed email in response from someone I barely knew, informing me that the delay was due to his recently learning his daughter out on the East Coast had developed brain cancer, and that he had been traveling out there and back and forth to be with her at the hospital.  He apologized for the delay in shipment , and I had meant to write back to him "no problem" and that I understood and would be praying for them both, but I got too busy with other things and didn't do it at the time.

I sent another inquiry a few days later to see how things were going with Brandon and his daughter, and got a response instead from "Lou", who turned out to be Brandon's brother.  I was stunned to find out that he was temporarily handling things for his bother, who apparently had gotten injured in a bad auto collision later than weekend.   It turns out that while driving out to the coast to be with his daughter, Brandon wa**** head-on by another driver who was high on methamphetamine.  The other driver was killed, and Brandon was in the hospital with serious injuries, including a very bad one to his leg.

The latest email I received from Lou let me know that the following day while in the hospital his brother suffered a heart attack, and was in ICU (not uncommon for trauma patients in a hospital, unforunately)!

It seems Brandon is recovering, slowly but surely, and no word yet on the status of his daughter, from Lou.

Please keep this family in your prayers ..      Thanks guys  ..
