OT - Good Stuff, Cheap - "Liquidation.com"
I heard about these guys on one of our local channels on their a.m. news show last weekend. The reporter was showing how this huge national company sells off discontinued, returned, etc. merchandise (mostly office-related stuff) from the big chain stores, through auctions on their website.

The reporter in the article interviewed several locals, *****ported they got some high-quality goods at a very low price by using the auction. Since most of the stuff is usually in bulk (i.e. 5 or 6 units), then one or more persons can buy the lot and they split it up, or even resale some of it on Ebay to make a profit. One big advantage for any buyers in the DFW area is that the company has their major Southern distribution center right here in N. Garland, so you save on shipping by just driving to the center and picking your stuff up.
One thing to be careful of, though, if you do pick your items up, is to be sure that your merchandise is correctt, not broken, and works ... BEFORE leaving with it .. Apparently, once you drive off with it there is no warranty on that account ...
