marvelous monday morning WLS express

Yesterday was a study marathon day for me so that I could watch the Cowboy last night.  I got most of my work done, but I have a vacation day scheduled for today so I shouyld be able to finish.  I'm also coloring that gray out of my hair and running to the mall to see if I can find something to wear Saturday night.  I'd really like to have something new.  I'm still in a wardrobe building mode.  I just never replaced much...I'm doing it as I go along. 

The rest of the week will be packed full of stuff to do before the conference.  I won't be there til time for the Meet and Greet.  Don't get started on the party without me.  I'm coming.  I promise!!

I had a very productive weekend.  Makes me feel good.  Went to a wonderful wedding, mowed my yard (twice) because the weeds were so bad!, finished painting the room, painted the baseboards, and finished putting up my fence  I love it when I get a lot accomplished!!
Today Little S_it goes back in for stitches removal after her "fixing" surgery.  Thank God we'll be able to take that cone off her.  Then she'll be back to her completely destructive old self :)  I'm anxious to see the vets face when he sees what she has managed to do to this cone!!!
Got to color my hair...it's horrible!  Then just get this room put back together and start redecorating it.  I'm going to put the vanity I had as a little girl in here for the girls to put their "dress-up" stuff in.  It's a real antique, old as I am :)

Good morning.  It's nice to be back on the train again.  Had a great fun tailgating weekend in Aggieland!  I posted some pics on FB last night.
Terry...you need to make sure you look at the giant sr. ring one...they unveiled it Friday.  You would love it!

Short work week due to OH Conference on Friday.  I too will be cramming in 5 days of work in 4.  Can't wait to see everyone Friday.  Am anxiously awaiting the arrival of Dana and Terry Ann Friday morning.  My Shih Tzu won't be though, because it means another weekend outside in his pen.  He doesn't like his momma traveling w/o him.

Good morning!!!!!  It's Monday and the beginning of a crazy week for me!!!  I'm off campus for the next 2 days in meetings... start my pilates class this week on Mon/Wed nights, open house at work tomorrow night..... So I'm not going to have much time to plan for the weekend until Thursday night!!  Which I guess is good... because I still have no idea what I'm taking to wear to the conference this weekend but don't have time to stress over it right now!!!

I'm so excited about the conference this weekend!!!  I can't believe how much my life has changed since the conference last year!   I'm 12 lbs from goal, I finally feel like I look on the outside like I feel on the inside!!!  I see me again when I look in the mirror!!!!!   I know I'm a very quiet person at these conferences but trust me I really do enjoy seeing all of you!!!!!

Prayers going out to Phylis this morning and anyone else in need of one today!!!!

A quick run by.  Had allot of fun at the wedding.  She was beautiful.  Then went back home and worked until midnight for my job.  Worked all day yesterday until midnight.  I am getting old these 70 hour weeks are killing me.  Been working from 6am to midnight all week and then worked several weekends.  I am at work now but had to take a little me time to destress. 

I am on my second venti latte already.  Looking forward to Friday and I get to meet everybody and see old peeps again.

Meggie and Rebbecca, I don't know what I was thinking when I made the reservations but they are under the name Karen Wood.  Guess I forgot which husband I was married to.  Not sure I forget if Carol and I are leaving Frisco at 3 or we will be there at three.  Hope I get off early.  I am telling them now I am leaving at noon on Friday.  That will be over 60 hours this week for me anyway.  As far as dinner on Friday and Sat please just push me in the right direction.  I will be with you guys.  I use to work in the Galleria so I should remember some of the resturants unless they have changed.

Well better get back to work.  Danni you are an amazing lady.  Just found out Sat you and I have a lot more in common.  I will email you soon and tell you why.  Lynnette hope you are feeling better.  Debbi praying for your church family.  Phyllis get better soon.  Meggie girlfriend sorry I haven't checked in on you lately.  Gina missed you Sat but get to feeling better.  Steph good to see you and PAW.  Sorry if I missed anybody.  I am working in my sleep.

Morning Chosen Family, albeit mid-morning! Just catching up after a whirlwind of a trip that took us from Aggieland to Jefferson, TX, to Ashedown, AR, New Boston, TX, Maud, TX, Ore City, TX, Longview, TX and Kilgore, TX. Whew!!!!!! That was a quick one, but we had a blast and saw family that needed to be seen and we haven't seen in a while!

Getting ready for oldest DD's baby shower in a couple of week's. She's having a boy and is very excited. Wish I could say the same for the Youngest DD (Stephanie), but she's doing the best she can and is due in March.

Good Morning OH Family!

Well, I'm finally feeling human again. Had the flu since last Thursday. I took Allie to the movies yesterday, she loved it. Still fatigued and it wore me out. Went with Rick to the foot Dr this morning. Dr said that he had more bruising than he would like and ordered him to stay off it more and prop it up. I'm planning on going to the Allen support group tonight. Think I better go lay down for a bit so I will feel like it.

Glad to see the train still running at noon.  Seems like I've been running all morning.  Went to water aerobics class this morning.  Substitute instructor, no likey her - her program was unorganized or unstructured or unsomethinged.    Left there and went to tan to get ready for the weekend.  I've had some Mystic Tans in my "bank" for awhile - I like it alright, but my thighs look like striped sharpei puppies.  Gotta figure out a way to unwrinkle them during the spray mist! 

King has his first session with his trainer tonight after finally getting all the medical releases they required due to his diabetes and heart issues.  I hope he enjoys it.  I'm going to tag along just to see what he's supposed to be doing.  His routine should be somewhat varied from mine because he's aiming for weight loss while I'm aiming at toning and conditioning.  He's been going to water aerobics with me and enjoys that, even though his friends gave him a hard time about it he went back!  He ain't skeered!

Back on the clock today for work.  Four day work week because I took Friday off to get to the airport around 9am to pick up Ms. Mari and drop her off at the hotel.  Then I'll run back home and get ready and grab my stuff and be back around 2'ish.  It's nice to be local, just in case I forget anything.  Of course, I'm rooming with Bender and I know she'll find some excuse to go to WalMart!  (Love ya Bender!)

Gotta get busy finding costumes for Tom & Que Halloween party - I had borrowed one from a friend, but think I want to find something "theme'ish" for King and I - and no, he won't shave his head to go as Yul Brynner! 

Anyone that's illin', hope you're feeling better soon!  Anyone that's job huntin', I hope you find one soon!  Anyone that's happy and you know it - clap your hands!

Yes, I am sure we won't have too hard a time trying to find  a reason to go to WM..LOL
Instead of getting to work why don't you come on over to the South Side and mow my grass and my neighbors grass for me?  PLEASE.. I don't want to do it. I get off in 1 hour.. I have to mow it tonight. I don't have another free night this week.. :)

Aw, I'm sorry, I can't make it over to mow.  I'm sitting around waiting on some work to do!
