Finally John has a diagnosis and other junk on us. VERY LONG
Good Morning All,
I thought maybe it was time for an update on the Cortez clan. I did not think much had happened until I thought about writing it.
My oldest DD is now 27weeks along. Due Dec 18, I think a baby shower the end of Nov. She is very happy with the babies daddy. His name is Byron and he is middle school Coach in Mansfield and will graduate with his masters in Dec and be Principle (we hope). Angels is so amazed that he is responsible. You know with that other one, she was made to feel like s%%% if she asked him to take the kids to school or whatever. Byron just does what needs to be done, and this last week, he proved it again. Angela was made Employee of the year in Apr, In may announced her pregnancy and has had the most hostile work environment since, her boss even told her she should have been fired a long time ago. The same one who nominated her in Apr for EOY . 2weeks ago they told her to take a demotion or resign, and they she did not think she could trust her as assistant, well Angela wrote a long letter to HR and said she felt discriminated against for being pregnant, (her boss has fired 3 other managers this year that were pregnant). Last friday she got an email that said to stepdown or take a 6month severance package. Her last day was tues. When she gets through the shock, she will be fine.
Youngest DD is working in a factory, she went as a temp and after 90 days they hired her full time. 4pm to 3am mon to thur. She misses cutting hair,(que she will come to you). She is the only one working, Robert still is not working and was in the hospital last week in DKA,( diabetic ketoacidosis). Of coarse after he lost his job in Mar he just quit his meds and everything else. Some day????? The babies are just adorable. Lizzie will be 3 in Nov and Joei 2 in Feb.
Youngest DS is staying with Yolanda, has not found a job. A felony Burglary ( even if it was a car charger form girlfriend where he lived) does not a job get easy. He has a girlfriend having a baby in March. Will they never learn. He needs to support the othr 3 first, don't ya think. He is my baby, but I am glad he is staying with Yolanda.
Oldest DS has not lost any weight since his labband in July, but he got a "big boy band" 15cc and with his last fill was just now to 8cc. Maybe he will start feeling restriction now. His wife almost below 200 and looking great. She was banded last Nov. Their son Gabe turned 7 on the 6th and is looking great.
Now I am great if you count tired, I left my homecare case in July and went to Hospice and other homecare. I drive to Plano and work Fri, Sat and Sun night 12hrs, then Fort Worth on monday 3-11, Then hospice SOMEWHERE on Tu-thur. But sometimes there is no work on tue, wed or thur.
We are going to remodel Johns moms house in Plainview, she signed it over to john and is living with Johns sister, Her memory is not good enough for assisted living now. She is 85, and his dad is 90and lives by himself next door to johns moms house. So we will be moving to Plainview after the first of the year.
AND FINALLY ABOUT JOHN. We got a diagnosis last wekk, He officially has ankolysing spondilosis. Where is spine is fusing together at the base and up by the lungs. Also Pulmonary fibrosis, probably from AS. They put him in an AS registery , and want to start him on HUMIRA if pulmonary says it is ok, they think the Humira might keep him out of a wheelchair in a year. But the humira has so many side effects and depletes the bone marrow so bad that Pulmonary has to agree.
So I will let you know more later. I love all of you and you are so special to me. Thank you for taking the time to read all my crap, But thats my story and I sticking to it.

SHERRY-your timing is perfect--I dreamed about you the other night--I started to call you, but had no idea what your work schedule might be.
Your life sounds TOO full. I don't see any "Sherry time" in there. I worry about you.
John's dsx does not surprise me. I'm thinking it's one of the ones YOU came up with a long time ago, when no one would listen to you. Humira is not such a bad option, IMHO-but I'm not an expert, of course.

You and John have been on my heart so much. I have sent prayers up daily that they would find all of John's problems, but I wanted them to be simpler.
The kids are grown. Your focus should be on you and John. Plainview is a long way away, do they have a VA there? John is going to need good care.
