OT - Rachel's apt went good

nothing to do till she is at least 3 and then we have till she is 5 so a 2 yr window IF is does not heal up on its own  - a very real possiblity

ok explain, I read it but not need it real layman's terms, lol.  Is it a heart murmur?

a heart murmur is a sound often caused by a tiny curve in the blood vesels around the heart - so it kinda sqwirls -that is the common one kids out grow
this one is caused by the little vein that is between the arterys in before birth not closing - so the blood swirls though there - it normally closes with in a week of birth - premies have more problems with it not closing - so if it is still there when she is 3 we will look at a surgery where they put a cathader in her artery in her thigh and run it up and put a tiny tiny screwi n the vein to clot it off - he says sends kids home with a bandaid not a big deal at all

does that make more sence?
