Elizabeth's pain is over but the real, deep pain has yet to begin - especially for Michelle.
Below is one of God's children that definitely need our prayers. This is one specific cases, we know there are others out there. Remember them too.
Gina J. - Pray for her 6 year old Marina, diagnosed with a terminal illness at age 2. She has improved, but still needs our prayers. Pray for this brave little girl

Glad you guys are going to have a father/son outing! Well, trying to continue to work on getting a bunch of clutter "decluttered" in the house today. The exterminator comes in the morning for our regular quarterly "keep the bugs OUT of my house" spraying, then more "puppy-proofing" before Sunday's puppy pick-up! The girls had a non-district match tonight. They didn't get home until nearly 9:00. UGH. They were exhausted. Kind of crappy, too, because Heather has a practice SAT exam tomorrow. Glad it is a free "practice" one! She hasn't taken any of them so this will give us a good idea on her strengths as well as what specific areas she needs to work on. She won the only girls' singles match tonight, too! Trounced the girl 6-0, 6-1! YIPPEE!!! Her sister lost hers but it was a VERY close one and went to yet another tie breaker. Her and her partner are both freshman so they will "click" sometime this season and then next season, watch out!!! It is very good hands-on experience for the both of them to play harder people.
Ok, I'd better scoot. LOTS to do yet tonight...
Hi George;
I hope you and Brad had a wonderful time at the game last night.
We drove north yesterday mid-day and got here around 4pm. Michael and I took Sara out to Rick's Chophouse in downtown McKinney to celebrate her birthday. It was definitely the best meal I've had since I lost my expense account and we had a great time catching up and celebrating Sara!
This morning, Rick handed me our tickets to the Red Wings v. Stars game on 12/19. We got great seats! I can't wait for the game. Later, we went to The Fox & Hound in Carrollton as that's where the M Club of Dallas gathers to watch all of the U-M games. We had a great time and I even won the first of the trivia questions of the day! After that, we ran some errands, came back to the house to catch the end of the MSU v. Norte Dame game. I'm always happy when MSU loses. For dinner, we went up to Sanger to Babe's Chicken. OMG!! It was so amazingly yummy.
Tomorrow, we're thinking of going to Austin Avenue for the football games. Monday, I have to have Michael @ DFW around 8:30 for his flight to ATL. Then, I'll stop by Saks @ The Galleria to hand deliver my rewritten resume for their Director of Marketing position. Once I'm done with that, I'll be headed back southbound for a lonely week.
I hope everyone is having a great weekend. Prayers for all who need them. :)

If I were lying, wouldn't my pants be on fire?!?
Another busy day. Geez, thought the weekends were supposed to be for RELAXING! Not around my house, at least not THIS weekend! Got Heather up at 8:00 as I had to have her to her testing location by 9:00 - she was taking a practice SAT. She was there until 1 pm. She said it wasn't horrible, but she knows some of those questions left her going in circles. For the ones she wasn't sure about, if she could definitely eliminate one or two answers, she'd have either a 1/3rd or 50/50 shot at it being right. I am not sure when they are graded but I know they do give the parents a call to go over results. I believe Sylvan Learning Center actually offers this one so I'm SURE when we go over results, they are going to be quick on the stick to offer their services to better their scores. I couldn't send my kids there even if I wanted to. A friend of mine took her two kids to Huntington (same kind of place as Sylvan) to just hopefully get them ahead a bit. She said her now 8th grader was able to pick up a few study tips, but her younger son (he is now in 6th grade and I think she put them through this a year or two ago) didn't gain ANYTHING by going. The bill for them....$10,000 EACH! She said once you finish the set plan, they bring you an offer for another plan, then another, etc. They finally decided enough was enough and didn't take them back anymore. Holy cow...$20K for just a few months...I don't think so!
Anyway, after dropping her off, went back home and got ready for the exterminator. He came and did his thing, then just continued to pick things up in preparation of picking up "Schnitzel" tomorrow! Heather was just being a jerk about it though. She is not a fan of dogs anyway, I'd say she "tolerates" them. Well, I think her biggest problem is that her sister is getting something that she wants and that irks Heather. I swear, they all just live to see what they can do to make each other miserable. I don't know about them, sometimes I literally just shake my head at them all!!!
Tonight more of the same, more picking up (oh man I hate the clutter we accumulate with three kids, especially ALLLLL those school papers that Sarah brings home!!!). I'll probably get up and make breakfast before we head out about 10:45. We're supposed to be at the lady's house at noon. I will TRY to figure out how to put a picture within a post so you all can see the little guy!!! I am not the most computer saavy kind of person so no promises!!!
Nighty-night everyone!!!
