My One-Year Surgiversary!!

A year ago today, I had my RNY gastric bypass surgery with the wonderful Dr. Garth Davis. What a difference a year makes. Last year I weighed over 300 pounds and was miserable. Today I am a totally different person. Most importantly, I am HEALTHY!! As of today, I weigh 148 pounds and have a BMI of 23.2. I've lost 163 pounds since my pre-op appointment (I wasn't weighed the day of surgery) and 191 overall. I've had absolutely no complications since surgery and would do it all over again. Life is grand!!

Thanks!! I work out 3-4 times a week. Wish I had time to do it more often, but I make the most of the days I go. I do the elliptical for an hour, lift weights for about 45 minutes, and abs for about 15 minutes.
