It's Wednesday, I've got tickets to a ball game, and guess what it is doing outside.  That will not keep me away tonight.  It's been a while since I have been to the Ballpark, so I have to get out there.

Enjoyed Big Brother last night.

Survivor starts tomorrow.

Not much else in my world.

Just so you know folks, you need to TAKE YOUR VITAMINS.

If you are new to the board, this link explains what the NIGHT WATCHMAN is (if you are interested).  Otherwise, just read on, you will probably figure it out anyway.

Prayer requests are listed below.

Continue to keep your thoughts and prayers for the members of our Armed Forces serving around the world, especially during this time of increased awareness.  Please thank God for these men and women every day.  In addition, please keep the wives and family members in your thoughts.

Dana's sister Renee is recovering from two surgeries.  Her skin graft on her leg is not healing properly.

Meggie as she recovers from her surgery and is back to work soon.

Other prayer requests:

Dana requested we add Susan T. and her son to the prayer list.  Justin had a visit to the oncologist today and actions are being pursued.

Dana's friend Rachel is 25 years old and pregnant.  She has a 2 1/2 year old daughter and found out about a month ago she has inflammatory breast cancer.  They are taking the baby in October (2 months early) and will do a double masectomy.

Debra - asks for prayer for Ramon who is in the hospital from his near drowning experience.

Debra also asks for prayers for a friend of mine, Yvonne's husband Kevin.  He is in the hospital.  That is all we know for now.

Jennifer - prayer for the sale of their house.

Jenn Ewald asks prayers that her financial situation improves so she does not lose her house.

Meggie - friend Nancy is in assisted living home and is on her last days.  Pray for Meggie's family also as they try to fight through this.

Sandi asks for prayers for her late coworker's (Renee) family, as died in a car accident this morning (9/15).

Vanessa (ButterflyReborn) asks for prayers for her family and for her and her spouse's health issues.

Vanessa also asked for a request for continued prayer for The Dunford Family and all of their friends, doctors, nurses, medical staff, and even all of the people that have never met Elizabeth or the Dunford's but have prayed for and/or have been affected by their story.  Elizabeth's pain is over but the real, deep pain has yet to begin - especially for Michelle.

Below is one of God's children that definitely need our prayers.  This is one specific cases, we know there are others out there.  Remember them too.

Gina J. - Pray for her 6 year old Marina, diagnosed with a terminal illness at age 2. She has improved, but still needs our prayers.  Pray for this brave little girl

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

Evening George,

Hope you have enjoyed yourself at the ball park, and haven't melted in the drizzly stuff coming down...  (we all know how sugar melts in the rain...lol)

Doing ok here, have been facing some struggles at the new job, but it has been expected..  Change is always a struggle with long timers...  it's all getting down to the wire now, either accept or......  I don't like being the bad guy, but that is what I was brought in to do, hard to believe I've been there a month already... in all reality, it feels like I have been there for years........  Gonna go hit the pillows.....

Prayers for all of the spoke and unspoken requests.  Special prayers for those that are hurting tonight for what ever reason.  Special thanks for all of the prayers and blessings answered.  Special prayers for Jennifer, Meggie, Justin and Dee.  He knows how to distribute them.

Blessings to all,
Avis

Hi George;

I hope you had a good night at the ball park. I had a pretty uneventful day. Did my job search stuff (only one job worth applying for today), cleaned out my closet a little more, had dinner and hung out with the neighbors. Trying to make sure the house is ready for us to leave for the weekend.

Tomorrow, I need to finish my closet clean out, pack some stuff that I've taken out of there that I won't use here anymore but want once we get settled again, vacuum the car, go to the bank and grocery and pack for the weekend. Friday morning, I've got an 8:30am doctor appointment and we're headed north when I get done with that.

Have a good night. Prayers for all who need them.
Blessings, Jennifer

Hidey-Ho George...
Good grief...Big Brother?!?  As Heather would say, "REALLY"???    Just don't care for that show for whatever reason.  The only "Big Brother" I care to talk about is our very own NW himself!!!  Of course, isn't that the job of lil' sisters, to give the big brother trouble!  hehehe...  Thankfully the girls are not into that show either.  There are plenty others though that I have to tell them to "move on" with the remote and find something else on the ol' boob tube.

Tired though so guess I need to get to bed!!!

You know, growing up, I thought THE absolute more boring thing that would pop up on a limited amount of TV channels (we were lucky living out in the country to get MAYBE the three local channels, that's if the moon and stars were in line that day....or the antenna wasn't blown around) was golf.  I know people like it just like we like tennis and understand that sport can bore people to pieces as well, but, for me, I'd rather watch golf than Survivor!  UUUUGH!  Liked it the first couple seasons, but could not STAND to watch an hour long show of people capitalizing by manipulating people and having them lie to each other just to get ahead.  Enough of that junk in the regular world for me to watch that one.  Kind of like a lot of things, the "old" versions definitely better than new ones!  Honestly the only winners I can even recollect were good ol' Richard Hatch and I think Colby - believe he was from up there in Dallas....
