Support Group in the Golden Triangle?

Does anybody know if there is a support group in the Beaumont/Port Arthur area?  I had my surgery in Houston, but i don't want to drive 90 miles for a support group.  If there isn't one, how does one go about starting one?  I am too much of a newbie myself, but maybe one of you "old-timers" that live in my area would be interested in heading it up.

the christus hospitale has a support group meeting every month on the third thursday of each moth. the next one is this thursday and they r going to a resturant if u want the e-mail of the lady so she can send u reminders just message me and i will send it.
