We found that Braums skim milk is the highest in protein, we found that out at a nutritional class that we went to, thought I would pass this on

Good to share Robin.  I've been drinking it for years since I learned that at a NUT class that my dad had to take when he was diagnosed with Diabetes about 15 years ago.   It isn't more expensive but you won't find it on sale like you do at the Grocery for $1.99 per gallon.   The skim is yummy and tastes much more rich like a 1% or 2%.

I weighed 313 pounds on December 1, 2008 the day of my RNY surgery and have lost 81%
of my excess body weight to-date.                                        Current as of November 1, 2009

Actually - if you happen to have a HEB or Central Market near you their Mootopia milk has the highest protein per 8 oz at 12 grams.  Mootopia is also lactose free so the carb count is lower..... it comes in a skim and fat free white and a 2% sugar free (?) chocolate.
Braums milk is protien fortified so it does taste richer............

Used to do the Fat Free (green top) pre surgery but guess I became lactose intolerant post op.  Can't drink milk on its own but can in a latte.  Does the steaming have anything to do with that?

Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!

I can only do hot milk or sm amount of frozen (love making nsa ice creams) - I love iced lattes - I just order a cup of ice WITH my latte b/c most places won't steam then ice them for me

It changes something b/c plain from the fridge milk gets me too

Braums milk also lasts the longest in your fridge-because its made just up the road in OK, they get it on the shelves faster than other brands. And I've heard, but can't really prove, that it has less additives which is good for kids with ADHD because sometimes its the additives that help make them hyper.
I can't drink milk anymore... and I miss it!

RNY on 12/15/06 with

Vertical Integration.  Braums owns the dairy/cows/trucks/entire supply chain, so it spends less time between cow and table.  They also control what the herds get, so no RGBH or things like that.

I personally think that their milk tastes better, and definitely like that it lasts much longer.
