just wanted to pop in and say hi

  i haven't been hanging around here for a while. i joined a group and have been there.  i have had tt and hernia repair and am trying to  recoup from that.  hope everybody is doing well.  vick

 OK Vickie....spill the beans......what group did you join that is keeping you away from us !!!  LOL  JK...but we DO miss you girl.    It takes a while for the fluids and all the swelling to go away after PS.   Hang in there sweetie.   You are going to be hot !!!

vivian,  how long before the swelling goes away?!?!  it is uncomfortable for sure. how are u doing?  i hope everything is ok with you. have you gotten used to having a kid at college yet?  is your husband working or are they still on strike. ha ha.  you know the only way i can repay you for what u did for me is by helping others. i try to do that. just think about it, u have inspired a lot of helping attitudes in your time here on the boards.  thanks a lot, vick

 Vickie....remember I had a Lower Body Lift.   But I was really swelled for months and months....at least 6 all the time and then at night up to a year.    Wear your binder as much as possible.   That really helps alot with the swelling and then when your doc releases you from wearing the binder....go buy yourself a waist cincher ( you can get one at Walmart....get the kind that wraps around and has the hook and eyes that goes down the front ).     I wore one of those for over a year.   I still wear shapewear though.  Not happy with my body shape.    

Everythingi is good with me but will be better when my middle son finds a job !!! LOL    My son loves being in college ( youngest one that is ).    Yes.....thank GOD my hubby is working again.   LOL   That 6 week strike was 6 weeks too long in my opinion !!!  LOL  Vickie....you are giving me far too much credit for what I do here on the MB's.    All I do is try to encourage others and treat them as I would want to be treated.    Thank you so much for your kind words!!!!!   Hope your swelling goes away quickly.
