Okay, so I wanted to respond to each of you individually, but SO MANY of you said hi that I thought I'd just post one big thank you !! 

It really means a lot to me to know that I'll have friends when I get there. 

We're buying my plane ticket today....still trying to decide if I'm flying in Thursday night (the 24th) or Friday night, the 25th, (depends on whether he can take off Friday or Monday).  If I'm coming Thursday, then I think I will drag his bottom to the OH meet-n-greet Friday night, like you guys suggested...just to meet everyone.  (-:

And, if anyone's up for coffee or something Saturday, I would LOVE that.

P.S.  About living in Louisiana, I lived in New Orleans...went to school at Tulane.  Definitely...an experience !
