Thursday Mission/Feeling Goofy
Good Morning,
I received a phone call yesterday about the job I interviewed for last week. They hired someone else and if "it doesn't work out, they will call me." I am enjoying my 1st cup of coffee and catching up on the board's happenings. Tasted my cookies and cream protein shake last night, not too bad. I normally drink a strawberry flavored one buy my supplier didn't have any on hand.
I walked to the mail box (2 blocks) the other day and thought.."mmm I wouldn't have been doing this 100+ lbs ago! I am hoping now to go full steam ahead and finish off these 18 lbs to get to my 1st goal weight.
I have to brag a little bit. I was pleasantly surprised the other day with some (light) purple slippers that David bought me. Purple is my favorite color for those of you that don't know. A few hours later, he tells me he bought tickets to AC/DC for November ( I think).
I'm going to my VERY FIRST CONCERT this month...to see Journey. He surprised me with that a few months ago. So I am really excited about going to the concert since I've never been to one.

Nina.....I have NEVER been to a concert either !! LOL Sorry that you didn't get hired for that job. It is THEIR loss !!!! Hope you find work soon. My son is jobless too and looking also. I am praying really hard that he finds one today !!!

Thanks Nina. He is a server. His GF got a job yesterday in Arlington at Salt Grass Steak House. He is going to Arlington too. They were told that Arlington restaurants are hiring due to the increase in business cause of Cowboy games !!!! Thanks for the prayers for him. He may need them. Love and miss you girl.
