QOTD- it's been too long

1.  Short shorts or long shorts?
I would not subject any of you to seeing me in short shorts.
2.  Did you attend a big high school or small?  How many were in your graduating class?
Big school for the day.  365 in my senior class.
3.  Did you play a sport in high school or college?
I considered it an afterschool activity.  I was the president of the Chess Team and actually organized the Long Island High School Chess League, as a junior in high school.
4.  All time favorite food either before or after WLS?
It would have to be New York style Pizza
5.  How did you meet your significant other if you have one?
We met at the post office on base in Madrid, Spain.  I was a mailman there and I got to play post office with Mary.
6.  Where did you grow up?
Copiague, NY (the town next to Amityville) on Long Island
7.  Do you like to dance?  Sing? Paint? Other?
No real talent outside of my charm, wit, and personality.
8.  Favorite book?
Anything by James Patterson.  His newest, Alex Cross' Trial is an excellent book.  Just wish he did not cheapen it by selling it using the Alex Cross character.  It was a great book on it's own merit.
9.  Sports car, SUV, truck or family sedan?
We have a VW Jetta, but I would really love to have a sports car some day.
10.  Are you going to the OH conference?  Who are you rooming with?
Yes I am going.  Rooming with Mary at home.

I went to 4 different high schools (one of them twice). CA - TX - CA - TX - FL. I never went through the graduation ceremony, so I have NO idea how many there were.

No sports.  But worked on the high school magazine in...uh...Florida, I think.


4.  All time favorite food either before or after WLS?
CHOKLIT!  Nuff said.  (Haven't had WLS)


5.  How did you meet your significant other if you have one? 
Had the same bunch of friends in college.  Four years later, he tracked me down and ran off my then-current boyfriend.


6.  Where did you grow up? 
Air Force Brat.  I grew up wherever my suitcase was...all across the Southern States, the Philippines and Okinawa.


7.  Do you like to dance?  Sing? Paint? Other? 
I love(d) to dance.  I sang and played guitar with a band back in the day.  I can't paint worth a flip.  I dabbled in gourmet cooking.  Unfortunately it dabbled back (and sides and hips and tummy and...).


8.  Favorite book? 
Whichever one I'm currently working on. (*grin*) Oh, you mean to read?  Uh, Ivanhoe.

W/3 dogs, it has to be a TRUCK

First one - blind date. Married him after 2 months and 1 day.
Second one - knew since 2nd grade. Married him after dating for 6 months.
Didn't matter - neither one worked out.

It is a pretty funny story...but to top that we got engaged on our first date!!

7.  Do you like to dance?  I LOVE to dance Sing? I like to sing. Paint? I don't paint.  Other? My professional hobby is volunteering and I love it!

I was busy all day.  I can't believe I almost missed a QOTD.  That would be tragic.

1.  Short shorts or long shorts?  I don't like shorts, but I own 2 pair of long ones which I rarely wear.
2.  Did you attend a big high school or small?  Big.  How many were in your graduating class?  756
3.  Did you play a sport in high school or college?  No, I'm old, there were no sports for girls at my school.  They didn't add girls sports in CCISD until several years after I graduated.
4.  All time favorite food either before or after WLS?  I can't choose between pizza and chocolate.
5.  How did you meet your significant other if you have one?  He was a bank teller and I made the daily bank deposit for my employer. 
6.  Where did you grow up?  Texarkana & Bryans Mill until I was 10, then Corpus Christi
7.  Do you like to dance?  Sing? Paint? Other?  DH and I love to polka and western dance.  I sew and craft.
8.  Favorite book?  Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil by John Berendt
