Wednesday WLS Express!!

Whoo Hoo it is Wednesday!!  Not Tuesday and Not Monday!! 

Yesterday felt like Monday until about 3 and then it calmed down.  One of our 20 somethings gave her notice yesterday.  It is a good thing for her, she is going back to school.  It is a good thing for us because it will avoid any layoffs that may have been planned.  It will give us all more to do, we were overstaffed, and it is all good.

Liz and Tom are headed to Steph's today to snag some Halloween decorations and I can not thank all of them enough.  It is going to be an awesome party, with the help of a lot of peeps.  The hunt went well this weekend and I think I have most of what we wanted.  If you are in the market for lights, Lowes was the best we found, and cost effective.

Well, the clock says I must move, CRAP.  Yall have a great one!

Can't wait to see all your decorations! I love Halloween. Now I just have to figure out what I'm going to be!

Good morning all!! NO whines or gripes here..I refuse...

My WOOHOO for the week is not WLS related..hope that's okay. The new job I took is doing what is called "MDS" is a nursing home-it drives the revunue, compliance, just about EVERYTHING nowadays. I used to do them for years and years, and like to think I was good at it, but have been away from them for many years. I'm in training yesterday and today, and found yesterday I'VE STILL GOT IT..lol...I've been stressing...way more than I dared tell anyone...and there's still a WAY long way to go to "cleaning up" my facility, but it doesn't seem as IMPOSSIBLE as it did a week ago, and I don't feel like crying my yes out anymore...or eating the fake wood off the top of my desk...it's all good...

okay--2nd WOOHOO that IS WLS related--and relevant THIS week..I managed to get out the door WITHOUT my "Monday" vitamin baggie yesterday...could have sworn I put it in my purse...even texted to TERRY ANN that I had it (oops!!)....came home..it was still on the kichen counter...but I made myself stay up late enough to space everything out and GOT THEM ALL IN!! My "Tuesday" baggie is now next to my car keys!! Just goes to show--it CAN be done--if this 7 year postie can manage a way-ANYONE can--JUST FIND A WAY THAT WORKS FOR YOU--it's vitamins..not rocket science..

Back to Granbury for training today.it's a nice drive, with beautiful scenery. Yesterday I sat behind a nurse I used to know..actually I went to high school with her..have worked with her over the years..she was there in the room when my Chris was born...I haven't seen her since WLS...talk about a WOOHOO...lol..guess that makes THREE for the week..She had LOTS of questions-we're reconnecting again today..

Okay..better get dressed..nekkid would NOT be a good way to go...

Good Morning Yall,
It is Woo Hoo for sure. Wednesday is a lot better than Monday!! Horse riding lessons are going great. I have actually gotten out of the ring yesterday. That was awesome. I felt like I had achieved something really big.
Eating is the same.. TOO MUCH!!. But, I am back on the eliptical like I should be. If I could just get them both together at the same time.. I might actually get some pounds off......

I talked to Lynnette yesterday and she was headed to the casino to PLAY and said she'd call and tell me how much she won.  Still haven't heard from her...she must be winning BIG TIME, lol!!

Here I am! I decided not to go yesterday. Not fun by myself and I also remembered I have to pay Rick's Dr $190 tomorrow on his foot surgery.

It's woo hoo Wednesday and my woo hoo is that it's Wednesday and not Tuesday. lol

Came back to work, bound and determined to get caught up after the bus rolling all over me Friday for no reason.  Seems now, it's like nothing happened and I'm doing great. WTF???  That chick.. well anyway.  Another day of getting back to keeping up and hoping to get ahead.  I have learned that it's okay to NOT love my job even when others are not working. Sometimes I feel guilty for that. And I do love my work, just not the administration. I'm sure i'm not the only one with that situation.

We are supposed to have a week long spell of storms on and off. For that I am ever thankful.  If you haven't seen the drought out in the farms and fields, you would honestly be amazed. I saw it this weekend, like never before. Let's pray there is relief soon.

Okay, time to shake Emm outta bed. Prayers for those in need and blessings to the rest.
