Happy Labor Day...let's hope we don't have to labor too much to get rid of what we may have eaten this weekend!

Yesterday overall not too bad for me considering I had a birthday party dinner to go to.  I did eat some dessert.  Really didn't taste that good because it seemed so sweet.  I had protein coffee, protein shake I made at lunch, some layered salad, 1 rib and 1 chicken wing (baked), 2 Tbsp. potato salad, 2 bites layered salad, 1/4 cup pinto beans and some nuts n& 2 slices ham lunch meat later on.

Scale was still at -8 lbs. for the 2 weeks.  I'm happy with that!

Plan for today:
protein coffee (downing now)
layered salad and sauteed shrimp for lunch
maybe another protein drink
low carb pizza with mongolian beef and spinach for dinner

What's your plan for today to be successful?

Good morning Karla, I'm here "laboring" a labor patient.  Oh well, someone has to work.  Awesome job on the 8 lb loss!!

I did good yesterday but scale was up a pound for the weekend.  I'm still down a total of almost 4 lbs for the challenge.  I bought 2 pair of size 6 jeans yesterday and one pair of size 9 junior black leather pants for halloween so those are my motivating factors.

Plan for today:
Breakfast: protein drink
Lunch: turkey sandwich, coleslaw
Snack: fresh fruit with low fat fruit dip
Dinner: ???  not sure, will talk to hubby and see what he feels like cooking.

Happy Labor Day to all!  I'm trying hard not to be disappointed.  I didn't lose any weight this week.  I'm down 5 pounds since we started, but I was hoping for another pound this week.  But I'm not throwing in the towel.  I've eaten more over this long weekend because DH is home and I have to cook 3 meals for him.  When he's working, I only eat 2 meals and 2 snacks.  He goes back to work tomorrow.

Todays plan -

Coffee
B - Sausage and Cheese Breakfast Cups
L - Spinach souffle stuffed chicken breast with peas & mushrooms (leftovers)
D - Inside-out cheeseburgers with baked sweet potato "fries" and salad
S - SF Jello & Dry-roasted almonds

Go out and make it a great day!
Vicki

morning everyone,

I am up and not running. lol.  Feels good.  Wish my mind would be on holiday like the rest of me.

Did okay yesterday I guess. I Don't have access to the biotch in a box.. Kinda freaking me out.  YOu know that will be the first place I stop when I get home this afternoon.

Not sure what I am going to plan for food for this week. Don't have much at home and haven't gone to the grocery. It's a very uneasy feeling. I might go to Yo *** this afternoon and grab some stuff to take home so I have stuff for lunch the rest of the week.

I know it's so good to eat like this. It sure does take a lot of time and thinking. But I know that it will be something i'm going to have to continue to do to stay in my goal range.

My three bite rule was out the door and I took five to six bites of the sides yesterday.  My magic number (189.9 or less) still eludes me on the scale but I will not give up. I am shooting for it prior to coming to the Dallas OH event.  I WILL NOT GIVE UP ON MY JOURNEY!!!!

Today's plan:
B-nothing. I woke up with a headache and took an Aleve and I just got up
L-salad
D-salad with grilled meat
Water- 48 ounces or more
Exercise- walk at least 2 miles
