OT-Baby Shower Game Ideas

I am planning my sisters baby shower in a month.  Does anyone have any games ideas?

At my daughter's shower there were a couple of the fun games.  One was to identify the baby food by taste.  Everyone was given a plastic spoon and 10 containers of different kinds of baby food were passed around.  Everyone guessed what each one was. 

The one I like best was name the baby animal.  They gave us a list of about 20 animals and we had to write down what the babies are called.  For example a baby Cow is a Calf.  if you're interested in that one let me know.  I saved my copy and I can PM it to you. 

I also always enjoy the nursery rhyme game.  You give guests the first line and they have to give you the next one. 

One other game that is kind of fun is to pin a safety pin on every guest as they come in to the party.  At any time during the party that anyone says the word "baby" the person who hears them can claim their safety pin.  At the end of the party, whoever has the most safety pins wins a prize.

Another one is Guess how big around the Mom is.  Get a roll of toilet paper, and each guess rolls off the number of sheets it takes to go around the mom's tummy evenly.  Whoever is closest wins a prize.  To measure mom, take the roll and have her hold one end, and then walk the roll around her till it meets the other end.  Tear off and count the number of squares. 
I went to a baby shower yesterday and we played this game.  We also played the diaper pin game but used clothes pins instead.

Ooohhh... I love playing the games at baby shower parties. Here is one of my favorites....

Baby Animal Name Game - Give each guest a list of animals and give them 4 - 5 minutes to fill in the blanks with the appropriate baby animal names. Read the correct answers from the Key and whoever gets the most correct is the Designated Veterinarian and the winner!

We did one at my sister's shower where you take baby diapers and melt different kinds of candy in them. Then you pass the diapers and everyone has to try and guess the candy. It was a riot. The melted chocolate looks like baby poop! The pictures of people sniffing the diapers where a hoot! Everyone loved it.

There was also one where you take a big box with a hole in the top and put in baby related items. Everyone takes turns sticking their hand inside and feeling the stuff for a specified amount of time. Then everyone writes down as many items as they can remember.

Whoever gets the most correct wins.

Thank you for the ideas.  I have thought about the diaper one but not so sure about it.  My mom is not a perfectionist but she thinks that you cant joke with people around or cause problems.  Coming from a small town in Kansas you had to mind your own P's & Q's.  Of course, me I was trouble maker and did what I wanted to p*** her off and annoy her a bit.  My sisters are the type to not do anything to upset her.  SOOOOO with that being said, I may have to do it.  She will probably have fun but wont admit it in front of family.  HAHA  anddddd My dad will get a kick out of it so why not!
