BCBS TX lists
-hypertension
-dyslipidemia
-diabetes
-coronary heart disease
-sleep apnea

does anyone know what dyslipidemia is?

I have high cholesterol and lipids, does that have anything to do with dyslipidemia?

I am required to have two co-morbidities, I have diabetes.

Dyslipidemia is a combination of high cholesterol and high trigycerides. hope that helps.

Does your surgeon require a sleep study?  Mine did and I didn't know until I had it done that I had sever sleep apnea.  I also had high BP, diabetes and high cholesteral.  So I did it right and just had all of the comorbidities.  I am also on BCBS.

I was on 3 shots and 12 pills a day for all of my problems.  I haven't had anything but vitamins since the day before my surgery.   Having this surgery was the best thing I have ever done for myself.
