I just wanted to say a big thank you and how very proud I am of the TMB. I try so hard to visit the main board to try to leave a positive message and I literally left in tears yesterday because of the vitriol, rudeness and general hate going on. You can bet any post with a whole bunch of hits is a mega fight. It's not only just a bad idea in general but it's a guaranteed way to make the successful journey much more difficult if not impossible. As we all know, it is hard enough already than to stir up all that stuff in the minds of so many that already spend way too much time in negative self talk. It particularly breaks my heart over the newbies that will be lost and perhaps not get help. There are so many trolls that are there just to drive traffic away from OH and people keep falling for it over and over again. Thank you TMB! There are so many good and helpful posters here. Thank you, thank you, thank you..

Well said Yvonne! I have met so many amazing people from Texas on OH. Ya'll sure have manners! It makes my wife and I consider moving!

A few days ago there was an absolutely nasty bunch of posts and i asked the poster to not use foul language and derogatory comments in regards to other posts. She responded back that if the other person was that stupid, then they deserved the remarks. Anonymity sure has created a nightmare for the Internet. So many cowardly people suddenly become "courageous" when they can post without ever meeting the other posters.

You know Stephanie, they'd probably come over like flies because just due to my OH group being in my signature, I've had almost 200 people from all over come to that group. Most of them are still pretty shell shocked.

On another note, I noticed they have a poll like thing on the page with your TV appearance. Have you seen it? I'm going to post and I was wondering about getting everyone else to do it too because the TV station needs to know how important your interview was. What do you think?

You are so right, Yvonne! That's why I am still a "card-carrying member" of the TMB. I tried the other one, but had to come right back where I belong...TEXAS!! Now if I could just get ME back where I belong.
