Expire Post
Paul, I never really gave much thought to the fiber content of food but I swear by the Western bagels. Twice a week I have one of those with peanut butter on it for breakfast and it certainly holds me until lunch.
My bread, Mrs Baird's whole grain white, only has 3g of fiber per slice. I was actually about to post and ask people what their favorite bread is cuz I know there has to be better options out there.
Thanks for making me think *smile*

If I do choose a "bread-ish" type item I lean towards high fiber like you. My favorites are Natures Own double fiber, any of the Ezekial products (tortillas, bread, english muffins, buns and cereal) and the western bagels. I eat these items sparingly as even the textures remain to be trigger foods for me. They are kept in the freezer and I may have 2 a week.

I don't get enough fiber in my day, I know that......and I do have "issues" sometimes because of it.
So spill the beans on the bagels, lol.

Paul, I just checked out westernbagel.com and they don't show the Walmarts in Louisiana selling them. BUT they do show Brookshire Brothers selling them and we have one in Sulphur, I'll check them out and maybe if they don't have them I can ask that they buy them.
Brookshire Brothers is the ONLY place locally I've been able to buy the TVP.
