The NIGH****CHMAN - Thursday 9/3
Tonight is Big Brother. Getting to the point where I don't like anyone that is left (that has a chance).
Tomorrow, I will be working both jobs, as I am working OT on my primary job. Then will go right from there back to the part time job Saturday morning. Nap Saturday afternoon, then two live fantasy football drafts Saturday night.
Gotta go.
If you are new to the board, this link explains what the NIGHT WATCHMAN is (if you are interested). Otherwise, just read on, you will probably figure it out anyway.

Anonymous prayers for the friend of a TMBer, who is very troubled at this time. I have been in touch with the TMBer and prayers are still needed.
Prayer requests are listed below.
Continue to keep your thoughts and prayers for the members of our Armed Forces serving around the world, especially during this time of increased awareness. Please thank God for these men and women every day. In addition, please keep the wives and family members in your thoughts.
PEOPLE SEEKING EMPLOYMENT:
Anne (Lalocaweta) and her spouse
Jennifer - (Cruise Director Julie) - still interviewing

Stephanie and her friend Mack
Vicki V.
Those who are not yet unemployed, but layoffs are looming
Upcoming Surgeries/current hospitalization:
Meggie is in Arlington Memorial while they check on her pancreas.
Recovering from Surgery:
Christopher J - had his RNY on 7/21. He is recovering, but had a stricture. It was repaired on 8/14, now the recovery from that surgery moves on.
Dana's sister Renee is recovering from two surgeries. Her skin graft on her leg is not healing properly.
Janet (1divaatheart) spouse recovering from kidney surgery.
Karen (Misty750342002) - Pray for her spouse as he as recovers from his eye surgery in an attempt to save his eyesight.
Other prayer requests:
Dana requested we add Susan T. and her son to the prayer list. Justin had a visit to the oncologist today and actions are being pursued.
George - BJ the Carboy update. They were scheduled to implant a port today to get him off of what they call a picc line for intravenous medication...then they were going to put in a combo defibrillator/pacemaker to keep BJ safe while he was home on bed-rest & medication for 4-6 weeks...
the port operation strained BJ's system more than they thought it would and they didn't do the defib/pacemaker surgery as scheduled...
They're going to reevaluate everything tomorrow...
Jennifer - prayer for the sale of their house.
Jenn Ewald asks prayers that her financial situation improves so she does not lose her house.
Meggie - friend Nancy is in assisted living home and is on her last days. Pray for Meggie's family also as they try to fight through this.
Vanessa (ButterflyReborn) asks for prayers for her family and for her health issues.
Vanessa also asked for a request for continued prayer for The Dunford Family and all of their friends, doctors, nurses, medical staff, and even all of the people that have never met Elizabeth or the Dunford's but have prayed for and/or have been affected by their story. Elizabeth's pain is over but the real, deep pain has yet to begin - especially for Michelle.
Below is one of God's children that definitely need our prayers. This is one specific cases, we know there are others out there. Remember them too.
Gina J. - Pray for her 6 year old Marina, diagnosed with a terminal illness at age 2. She has improved, but still needs our prayers. Pray for this brave little girl
GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!
Hi, George and everyone!
I am having an endoscope tomorrow to start addressing whatever problem it is I'm having again.
I can't eat. If I do, I vomit and what stays causes horrific pain.
I've lost 25 pounds since June 1st.
I'm way too thin. Gastro doctor was so concerned she put me in tomorrow (saw her today).
Then, next friday I get to swallow the camera capsule.
Y'all, I am so scared of hospitals. I've just been through too much.
Procedure is at 8:30AM - should be home by noon.
I doubt they'll find anything. We never do BUT I would like some answers so I can start feeling better. It would be nice to eat something. I'm hungry!
Please continue to pray for my husband - his PTSD has come up full speed since the injury trial. It really took a toll on him. Our family needs A LOT of prayer. A LOT.
If I find out something tomorrow, I'll let you all know.
Hugs and love,
Vanessa
I have two sides to my brain - a right side and a left side. The trouble is sometimes there is nothing left in the right side and nothing right in the left side.

Wow, I can't believe it's Thursday already, this week has really flown by for me. Sooo looking forward to a 3 day weekend, especially since I found out today, I will get paid for Monday, even though I'm still in my probationary period! Whoot! Still loving the job, the last couple of days have been a struggle, but today was better. Just doing the best I can each day.
Not much else new here, other than I'm pooped. Picked up DD from ex's house tonight, then we had to stop to pick up the darn graphic calculator. Told her if this one got lost, stolen or damaged, the next $108.00 would come out of her pocket. Time to go hit the pillows, hope you have a great night!
Prayers for all of the spoken and unspoken requests, and those that don't realize they need them. Special healing prayers for Meggie, Debbi T, Vanessa, and the Dunford family. Special prayers for all of those that are hurting tonight for what ever reason.
Blessings to all,
Avis
What a crazy past couple of days. Heather was using my computer to look up something and clicked on some darn link that opened up a huuuuge mess of spyware on my computer. Thankfully Paul was able to follow the step by step instructions that we found on a website called geekpolice.com! I didn't even touch the computer after he cleared things off. I swear, if people are that intelligent to be able to infiltrate someone's computer to do harm, if they only would realize the talents they have and actually do something productive with their skills. Why anyone gets their jollies knowing they mucked up someone's computer is beyond me.
Met up with the good ol' Katy Krew tonight! SOOOO nice to see everyone again! I wasn't able to make the July and August get togethers since I was back home. We had to go inside (birrrrr....) as it was a tad icky with lightning popping and snapping nearby but that's better than not seeing anyone at all.
I'll have you all know Lynne was there and NOT wearing black! Way to go Lynne!!! Brown looked good on you, and with the little splash of color around the color - very good!!!
Need to work on lunches now as well as a few notes for school (we're opting out on the ol' speech to the kiddos thing) as those are necessities for tomorrow.
Paul got ahold of some tickets for Sunday's Astros/Phillies game. Thankfully a couple of them area away (hehehehe) so I'll sit with Viktoria in those two separate seats. Paul gets a tad nuts rooting on his Phillies....ON THE ASTROS' TURF NO LESS...so I'd rather not have people turning around and staring while he's the only lone person around cheering for the "other guy"! He planned on only taking Heather and Sarah as Viktoria had a friend coming over so I had planned on staying home with them. Well, her friend's mom has some major flu-like symptoms and her friend is starting to feel yucko, too, so we definitely don't need THAT coming into the house! Her friend was like, "I'm so sorry but can I just get a raincheck for another weekend"! Absolutely...
OH...Paul is having surgery on the 14th! He has had some major numbness and tingling in his left foot for almost a year. He's been to several different docs and none have done anything to permanently get rid of it, so I did some homework and found a group here in Houston that is affiliated with the Brown Hand Center who does endoscopic carpal tunnel surgery. Basically Paul has carpal tunnel syndrome, but between toes 2 and 3. Most foot docs will fix it by cutting the nerve. Just didn't want him to do that so I told him that we needed to see what these guys can do. Went in today and was 100% impressed. The surgeon confirmed that he had a "Morton's Neuroma" and it is fixed by cutting the ligament to give the nerve room, not cutting the nerve. MUUUCH better! He does his bloodwork next week and the surgery on Monday the 14th.
Ok, better run for now...time to get some lunches fixed!!!
