Fantastic Friday WLS Express

Good morning all!! Whew...what a week...I have offered to work on Monday, for several reasons:

1. I'm the new kid, and it'll help the others to like me

2. I'll be gone for training Tues and Wed

3. I plan to ask for the 25th instead (always have a PLAN..lol)

Work has been a ***** but less of a ***** each day, so I think it's gonna be okay. The  "head" State surveyor turns out to be a nurse I worked closely with 100 yrs ago, when he was an aide. and lo and behold, I was nice to him back then, and HE remembered me, yesterday. Hope he's a "pay it forward" kind of guy! The inspection is supposed to be over by noon, so maybe the stress levels in the building can reduce a bit. I sure am tired--mentally/physically/all over...

We have FOOTBALL tonight, of course-Birdvile High School-on their field

I came in and crashed last night, so haven't read the board yet--gonna try to catch up a bit, before scramming out the door. Hope everyone has a FABULOUS FRIDAY!

I LOVE Y'ALL AND THERE'S NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT!!!

Good Morning Alissa and the rest of my TMB Family,

Only 59 days till we head to DE!  I am getting more and more excited as each day passes.  I slept till almost 5:30 this morning.  Latest I have slept in well over a month.  It felt good.  We had the meet the teacher last night and a band drive.  We were very lucky that the schol had ONE Sax that we can rent for Eric and they gave it to us cheep seeings we are only here for two months.  We did need to buy all the supplies and got that taken care of.  Then we went and walked Eric's schedule and met all his teachers.  Did you know that 6th graders dont get homework except for Math?  I was very surprised.  I asked each teacher and they all said no!  I was surprised.  Nothing at all happening this weekend.  I know Mark is bringing home work to do so he will be busy doing that and his homework.  The closing is just taking it time happening.  She said next week but we will see.  We went by the house last night and the sign was down so guess that is a good sign.  Nothing going on today.  I really need to energize today and get some stuff done around here.  Lately just so tired and sleep a lot.  Ok...I sure hope Meggie is able to come home today!  She is in my prayers.  Gina, is the job getting any better?  Also special prayers for Susan, Justin and the rest of their family.  I pray they dont have to wait to long for results.  Liz, sounds like you had fun last night with the Kids and Que and Tom.  Now if you could just sleep a little.  Prayers for all the others that need them.  Have a blessed day.  Love you guys.  Michelle

Good morning...I'm glad the 3 day weekend is here.  Ben is coming home after class today.  He doesn't get to leave until 3 or so.  I hope the rain is settling down by then.  We're going to the local home football game tonight.  We're playing Bellville here.  We got a new fancy electronic scoreboard and and new fancy run through and that should be exciting.  I know Ben wishes they had that last year!

Tomorrow we're meeting Terry and Gina & Bill for lunch at The Chicken Oil Co. in Aggieland...yes...we're all going swimming in a big vat of oil...NOT...popular eatery there.  Terry and Ben and I are going to the Aggie Game.  Ben will STAND w/ students and Terry and I will be seated comfortably in The Zone in armchair seats.  At least we can fit in them now!

Meggie...hope you get to go home.

Debbi T. and Jeff...prayers for your healing.

Annette...put your chin up, work on that wedding, and the right job will come along for you.

Prayers for all others who need them.

Have a great Friday.

Good TGIF All!!

We have another all girls day at the office, but I am going to live in the glow of last night.  We had a great time.

Just as I was headed to Arlington to visit Meggie with Liz and Tom, my Chris called.  He and my DIL wanted to meet for dinner!!!  It was awesome.  We laughed and ate, planned and schemed.  Then we zipped to the Hospital to see Meggie looking really good.

I sure hope they have her fixed.  Could tell she is still hurting a bit, still drugged a bit, but they have taken away all the IV's and she is on the road to being healthy again.  It was a blast.

Then on the way home we had the most fantastic light show.  God and his angels were providing lights in the sky that no fireworks show could beat.  Got just a few drops on the windshield, but really enjoyed the lights.

It was just an awesome evening.  Gotta run, girls day does mean I do not have to be there early to make the boss happy, but I still gotta go!!!

Good Morning All,
Got a good rain last night.  We needed it so badly, and still need more.  Hope the rain holds out, though, for any of you traveling for the holiday.  DD, SNL, and two older girls are leaving about 7:30 this a.m. for Galveston.  I'll keep Tori for four days, so I'd appreciate your prayers :)  Prayers still going up for those in need:  Meggie, Liz, Annette, and Alissa , to name a few. Y'all be careful in your travels and think of those of us stuck at home!! Have a great one.

Blessings,
Carol
