Strict Sabotageless Successful Sisters & "the Dude" Thursday
Okay John...had to edit my title after posting 'cause I didn't read b2b log until then...good for you!
Another day down in our month of September...how did you do yesterday? What's your plan for today?
Most of us posted on B2B on how we did yesterday. Overall...looks like some good healthy eatin' to me!
I was down -2 oz. today, so like Dana...I'll take what I can get...it's better than seeing it go up like it did Tuesday.
Today's plan:
protein coffee
chicken broth
Atkins low carb drink
lots of water/sf liquids
decaf coffee w/ sf creamer and splenda
chef salad w/ lite caesar for lunch
snack of nuts/raisins or ham/cheese grilled roll up
leftover mongolian beef...was really tasty & may be salad topping Fri.
We can do hard things!

Well it seems like the last two days popcorn has been my nemesis. I had a little more than a cup yesterday and I did not exercise either. I am giving myself the morning speech...no sabotaging today Faith! Next Wednesday will be here before I know it and I will be hoping to see that magic number. Have a great day everyone!
Today's plan;
B-coffee
L-salad
D-salad
Exercise-walk 2-3 miles
Water-64 ounces
People are so worried about what they eat between Christmas and the New Year, but they really should be worried about what they eat between the New Year and Christmas. ~Author Unknown
I did great yesterday, kept my calories to less than 1000 but the scale went UP 0.2 lbs. Can't worry about it, hopefully tomorrow it will go down.
Breakfast: protein drink
Lunch: 3-4 oz sirloin steak, 1/2 cup coleslaw very little dressing
Dinner: either 1 cup spaghetti and shrimp ****tail or 1/2 burger (Clay likes to go out on Thurs).
Snacks: have fresh fruit, cheese stick and radishes packed for work.

I am holding my own by eating within my plan. I have started weighing every day and it's very upsetting. Yes, I need therapy. Unfortunately the four pounds that I lost last week are almost all back on. Don't understand it, don't like it.
But Steph, you would be proud of your Emm. She had a 'Come to Jebus' with me being like all reasonable and reminding me of how much i've lost and the doctor saying how much skin I have and my bone mass and how thin to I have to be to be enough.. blah blah blah.. LOL. She's right and you are right.
THIS IS HARD! VERY HARD! But I'm gonna stay with it. If I give up I will be 340 # again real quick.

Today's plan:
Breakfast: boiled egg, turkey pepperoni
Snack: ham and cheese rollup
Lunch: Green Salad and pork loin, strawberries
Snack: Yogurt
Dinner: beef roast and some veggie, not sure what yet.

2 litters tea/cl
roast with carrots and celery and mushrooms
homemade sf ice cream possibly tonight
shrimp ****tail for snack

here is hoping I can pull this off - the scale has gone up 4 pounds since Tim got home less than a week ago - to many carbs - not enough sleep and just generally NOT paying attention - lucky for me I was 2 pounds UNDER my range so I am still good but AGRIVATED to put it midly with MYSELF (mostly - did tell Tim leaving oreos on the kitchen counter was mean so he put them up out of my reach LOL)
I know what I need to do - I have to choose to take care of me or I choose to fail
After a couple of days with a splurge in each one, I'm back to strict today. I've noticed that if I have a high sugar treat (even just a couple of bites) I'm much hungrier later and more likely to snack. So no more of that for a while. I wish I could say never, but I know that's not realistic.
Here's today's plan --
Coffee
Brunch - Omelet with spinach, turkey bacon and cheese
Snack - Grande Lite Caramel Frappucino
Dinner - Meatballs with Tomato and Zucchini Medley
Dessert - Ricotta cheese with SF Torani Syrup
I'm spending the morning making my meal plan and shopping list for the next 2 weeks. My husband is moving to Phase 2 on the South Beach Diet on Monday, He's gained 24 pounds in the past year ... a huge no-no for a heart patient. His doctor came down hard on him when he went for his check up a couple of weeks ago. That makes is so much easier since I don't have to keep snacks in the house for him.
Go out and make it a great day!
