Sometimes WLS is strange!!!!

Well my OH gang, all of you told me this would be a CRAZY ride and believe me, it has been!!!!! I LOVE every minute of it!!! Last Friday I got on the scale and was weighing 219, and a little frustrated because I had only lost 1 lb from the last time I weighed!!! But, since I have started regular excercise, and my birth control back, I figured all the hormones and such were probably going to stall me up a little and decided not to get emotional! Instead I decided I wanted to shoot for a goal to get MORE protein in since I'm starting to notice more of my hair falling out! Well, I got on the scale on Monday night and weighed 210???????????? 9 lbs over the weekend????? That is really strange to me... SO MY QUESTION IS: 

Did anyone else have this issue of pretty much over night weight loss after starting back on birth control or working out??? Or is my body weird... should I talk to Dr. B when I see him this month??? I've very proud and happy that my scales say 210, i just didn't expect it to drop 9 lbs in 3 days really!!!!! I don't weigh too often because I don't want to drive myself crazy, but for some reason I decided to check again on Monday. It seems strange, but could be very normal!!!

Stacey!! What a beautiful new avatar!!!! Congrats on the crazy weight loss, when mine did that I was back up a few pounds within the next couple of days. Keep working hard to keep it off!!! I am so happy for you.

My scale went up and down a couple of times...depending on time i weighed, water weight and such.  The birth control didn't have too much to do with it.

Stacey you look gorgeous lady.  I lost 6 lbs overnight, early out.  I hit the first stall at 3 weeks and didn't lose anything until the Monday of the 6ths week......weighed Sunday ~ no loss, Monday morning 6 lbs.

It is crazy and unexplainable.....but hey it's all good, that's for sure.

 I had no idea that you had a stall just like me early on.  I was 8 weeks out and didn't drop a pound for 6 weeks then it started coming of 5 pounds at a time.  Small world!  I've told so many that story because they are worried over a week or two.  Six weeks is pretty much going to make you feel like you goofed up but it's just weird how it happens.

I think it's pretty normal to lose like that.  There are so many things that can cause that to happen.  Just dont' freak out if you don't lose any for a couple of days.  I realized very early that my body was in control.  I could do all the right things and if it didn't want to let go of the weight then it didn't.LOL  Then when I would least expect it the weight would drop.  It was like my body was saying "HA HA HA!!!"LOL

Are you taking BC pills?  If so you might want to ask about that.  I  know my GYN was afraid I wouldn't absorb them and it would do no good to take them.  He suggested the NUVARING for me.  I haven't had to use it because I had my tubes tied but I was having some hormone issues that he thought it might help if I needed it.
