GOOD MORNING. Hope you guys get to go camping Danni- I know you all like to do that sort of thing. Me, I'm more of a hotel kind of gal, lol. We're headed to Corpus Christi on Friday and will be back Monday- going to see some friends. Should be fun as long as I don't drive too much- unfortunately driving really aggrevates my foot-not that it needs aggrivating to hurt. It just hurts all the time now, but way worse when I drive. I did start physiotherapy yesterday. Basically I sit with my foot hooked up to an electrode that stimulates the muscles and nerves to help with healing and pain relief. They said it will hurt worse after the first few treatments and they were right. They said it will get better.
My woo hoo- well at the doctors office the gal and I were talking yesterday and I mentioned that I had the gastric bypass and she was so shocked-she said she can't imagine me being overweight enough to have surgery. Not a big woo-hoo but I'll take what I can get! lol.

Gotta get going. Prayers for Justin and Meggie, and all others that need them. Love you guys!

Good morning all!! I slept better last night and am ALMOST ready to face another day..lemme get this here coffee in...yesterday's work was SURE better than the first day, and hopefully will get better and better each day. I KNOW I have to be patient with myself (the hard part) and others...sigh.....What a mess...But most of the people are really nice...the patients are precious...one of my 2 office mates is going to be great...I'm going to MAKE it work...positive Granny panties in position!

My WOOHOO for today...even with the stress of the past 2 days, I have NOT hit the vending machines...even thouh I found a whole bunch of them (it's a BIG nursing home). No one there knows I've had WLS and have no business eating crap, etc....I also went walking outside the bldg yesterday, when the urge for some junk was almost about to "get me". There is a huge parking lot/drive way, surrounded by trees--another excuse bites the dust. I'm doing alot of walking within the facility, finding lost paperwork, etc--am going to start wearing pedometer, to try to crank myself up, mentally and physically.

Okay..WAY too much about me me me me me me me me me me...

Extra special prayers for SUSAN's Justin, our MEGGIE, an all others in need or want

PRINCESS LORALEA-hope you had a great birthday!!

Okay..better go slap some warpaint on, and try to catch up on some TMB gossip...

I LOVE Y'ALL AND THERE'S NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT!!

Alissa - I've been reading about your painful foot for a while now, but I missed what the problem is.  I'm sorry it's still bothering you, and hoping the doctors are right about it getting better with more treatment.

I didn't post much if at all last week because it twisted on me, and all I could do was hang on for the ride.  So, I guess this is one of my woohoos.  I'm here posting  today (I've read almost every day, but that doesn't count).

As another woohoo, tomorrow one of my songs is getting its final mix and will be released close to the publication of the book its from.  I'm hoping in a couple of weeks to have both up and running.  (It's kinda like fixing a big holiday dinner, where you have to get 12 different dishes ready to serve at the same time.)

I'd also like to say thanks for this group's steadfastness.  You're making me more aware of my own journey and how I am (or am not) measuring up to what I know I need to do.  I'm embarrassed to say that last week, I might have rated a D-.  Grrrr.  This week, so far, is better.

Have a great day, y'all.

Good Morning Danni and the rest of my TMB Family,

I have had my vitamins and some water and now working on a cup of java.  All is good in my world.  Still have not closed on the house but today is another day.  Everyone seems to be dragging their feet.  Had my two year check up with Doc. Warnock.  He was pleased with my progress and told me I was a perfect example of what Gastric should be.  Yadda Yadda Yadda.  Asked about the constipation stuff and he gave me a script for NuLightly the stuff they give you for a colonoscopy.  Will get it filled today in the mean time took a couple of corectol.  I was and still am cramping so badly!  Hmmm have to think about a WooHooo ok guess is the same as it has been for a while now excpt the days are getting closer 61 days till we are on the road for Deleware.  Getting more excited every day.  Not sure what I will do today will depend on if my stomach stops cramping.  I need to walk and do some stuff around the house.  Danni that is great that you can run the stairs like that.  I am hoping our next house will be like that, but Mark wants a one story.  Prayers this morning for Meggie, Gina and her new job, Anette as she continues to plan her wedding, Laura and the job search, and all the others that are in need today.  Have a blessed day.  I sure do love you guys.  Michelle

Oooooookkkkkkkkk!  Woo Hoo Wednesday!  Well, yesterday we had a "Town Hall" meeting so the Plant Mgr could give us the "State of the Business" talk and answer questions that had been previously submitted (no embarassing ad lib for us!) and it was as expected.  However, (here's where we get to the Woo Hoo #1) he did take some questions after the pre scripted ones.  He talked to us about the Injured on Duty and rehabilitation into the "private industry" and I asked why private industry?  Do you know how many government agencies there are in the metroplex that we could transfer to?  Especially since a lot of us have transferrable skills?  He said he'd have to look into it and get back to us!  At least I got the question out there that's been bothering me!

Woo Hoo #2!  Found two jobs at the FAA that I'm going to put in for, and I know two someone's over there that I can talk to that can walk me up to HR to submit (after submission online, of course!  I do know how to follow directions, after all!).  So there may be a possibility of transferriing and hopefully soon!  Both jobs are just down the street from where I currently work!!

Woo Hoo #3!  Therese was able to fix the faucets in the bathtub last night!  No more turning on the water with plyers!!  YEA!!  We have new faucets!

Loralea!  I hope you had a wonderful birthday!
Sandi, you are one crazy wahini, girl!  You make me laugh!  How'd the, ehem, date (wink) go?  Did it go at all?
Danni, I'm so glad that you found someone who will walk with you!  I knew you'd have no problem finding someone to befriend.  You were born to be a military wife!
Gina, this is supposed to be all about YOU, YOU, YOU!  Don't you know that we want to know about YOU, YOU, YOU!!
Belle!  Wow!  Excited to see you here!  I can't wait to get your books and read them!  Amazon will be getting a visit from me soon!!  Congrats on the goals getting closer!  I'm with you, I love this site and usually read even if I don't post!

Well, better get in there and use Woo Hoo #3!  Gotta get to work and sit in the stand-by room!  Wish I had a little lap top to take so I could submit applications while sitting in that little room!

Ya'll have a great day!  You make your attitude!  Love ya!

Good morning.  My whoohoo is -7 lbs. for the last 8 days.  I've stuck well to the basics and exercise.  As long as I eat things I like the flavors of, I'm good.  I just have to have some variety.

Working at the in town office today.  Had a long day of 8 ARD meetings yesterday.  Lots of paperwork today to get ready for a few meetings tomorrow and some for next week.

Ben comes home late Friday afternoon.  He's been calling and reporting on his 4 classes and likes all of them but math.  His math professor helps them w/ work in class, but makes them do online videos for the lessons and they do homework online and submit it.  Kinda weird to both of us...I told him he'll get used to it.  His RA said he loves math and would help him if needed and he has a math study group and some other tutorial helps, so that's good.

Saturday I get to meet my Peep Terry Ann in Aggieland at the Chicken Oil Co. to eat with Gina and Bill...wish my girl Sherra wasn't working so she could eat with us.  Then Terry and Ben and I will go to the first Aggie football game of the year.  My Livingston Aggie player Dustin Harris will be starting, so I'm psyched to see him live his dream.  He keeps posting on FB and is ready to play!

Gina...glad you're settling in to the new job...step away from the vending machines.

Prayers for Meggie and all others who need them.

Have a great Whohoo Wednesday!

Prayers for Justin today, that they can isolate his problem and help fix him. Gina and her new job.  Alissa and her foot.  Any others who need them.  Y'all have a good one.

Blessings,
Carol
