B2B Food Log- Wednesday

Just thought I'd start the post so as people finish their meals for today they can post.  I had an absolutely fabulous day of making GOOD CHOICES. 

Breakfast: None
Lunch:  Olive Garden Salad- I got the FF Low Calorie Italian Dressing and ate only 3 croutons, NO breadsticks and NO "Andes" chocolat mint candy.
Dinner: homemade spaghetti sauce with meat and 1 cup of pasta. (I planned this because of my low calorie count during the day).
Snack: chocolate protein drink

I also went to Sam's where I ALWAYS get a soft pretzel.  Skipped the pretzel-traded it for a Diet Coke.  That's 3 Diet Cokes in 10 days.  Not bad considering I was drinking about 6 per day before the challenge.

Totals so far:
Calories: 807
Protein: 61

Oh Yvonne, you are so sweet.  I'm really trying to make the right choices without making it a "diet."  I refuse to give up all the things I love so portion control and balancing low calorie meals with higher ones has got to the the key.

Steph...sounds like your doing fabulously to me...You are right...we have to plan our carbs.  I don't think we can totally avoid them forever. You're also at goal, so have a little more leeway to lose a few more lbs. or maintain.  A few diet cokes shouldn't hurt you.  I know you're getting other liquids in.  I've been treating myself to sf gingerale with sf cherry limeade packet and am loving it!

Guess when I finish tonight I will be at 1000 to 1100

Breakfast - scrambled eggs with cheese
snack - 1/2 protein shake
lunch - chefish salad with tomato, olive, sunflower seeds, ham and cheese
           beets (splenda and vinager pickled)
snack - low sugar/carb yogurt
dinner - grilled chicken fajita meat, sour cream and cheese

I have not stayed off the scale after my Monday and again, it's literally tearing me up. I was going to just do mornings, but that has been bad news so I thought it might change.  I'm up 2 pounds this morning from Monday.  I got to try and put it away again.  All my hard work and it's all coming back on. Not a happy camper.  BUT, i'm sticking with it.

I also realized when I got home that my vitamins were still in my purse. That is the first day in months that I forgot them throughout the day. Loaded up when I found them.

Alright Miss Becky, I'm thinking putting that scale away til Monday might be the key.  You KNOW that your weight can fluctuate 2-3 lbs a day.  The stress "weighing" is causing you, might be what's keeping you from losing.  You are doing everything right.  TRUST in yourself and what you're doing- it WILL work.  I got mad yesterday when I weighed too cuz I was up a tad.  Well today I was down a tad.  I think I might only weigh once or twice a week from now on cuz it affects my mood the rest of the day.

Okay...totals okay for today...1128 calories, 103 g protein and I've downed 120 oz. liquids.  i rode my bike 30 minutes this morning and have taken all vits/supplements needed.

Didn't eat any candy, but did include in calorie count a Fiber One bar.  My roomie at work pigged out on the rest of his bowl 'o candy!  at least it's all gone now...

Off to make my Mongolian Beef for dinner; planning on a salad w/ it...may change that to sauteed spinach.

Once again, looks like only 1 real bad food choice today. The Starbuck's coffee cake I could have done without. Also, the chicken sloppy joe probably is not accurate. I ate it on 1 piece of whole wheat bread. Look at those freaking carbs!! Holy cow.

Dang John if you subtract that coffee cake you did great.  Carbs are high but a lot of them are from fruit and pretty decent choices (well as long as we don't count the stinkin coffee cake, lol).
