Hey John, I honestly don't think your calories are bad......for a man.  You guys can eat more calories than us unfortunate women, lol.

It's choices dud, get the protein loaded and ditch some of those attacking carbs.  YOU CAN DO IT, remember "I CAN DO HARD THINGS'.....get your mind out the gutter, lmao.

Hang in there, we all know how tough this can be but you know what.......you deserve to be healthy.

Should have been more protein. Even though the wings were not a good choice it showed 0 protein on the plate, which I know is bs, lol. That should have been a significant protein boost. But you are right, I know I can do it. Baby steps. My meals the last 3 days have been a vast improvement in choices prior to a decision to eat better. Now all I need to do is tweak it a bit and really cut out the bull****! 

No fun with the mind out of the gutter! lol

I did great today although I completely changed my menu plan for lunch.  When lunchtime came I just couldn't face another spinach salad with ham and cheese.  So I ran down to the barbecue restaurant and got chopped brisket.  Then for dinner I made a yummy shrimp recipe called Big Easy Shrimp.  It's like Shrimp Creole without the rice.  Delicious!  Here are today's numbers.

When I see food out like that, especially if there's kids access, I think of all the places those little hands have been, the runny noses wiped on the back of hands, etc, before they dig through those cookies to find the one out of the pile they want. Same with birthday cake where anyone has just blow out the candles.....and blown germs all over it.

Makes it REAL easy to resist! With all the new diseases, flus, infections, etc. we have now, I'm turing into quite a germophobe!

Edit...this was in repsonse to July's cookie temptation!
