Strict September
Okay yesterday went fairly well. I did have a few nuts/raisins last night instead of a ham/cheese roll. I had a bad neck ache, so took 2 aleve w/ food and my neck is much better. Every time I take Aleve though, which is only several times a year, I notice that I put on a couple of lbs. the next day. This used to happen even before WLS. I was up 2 lbs. yesterday, and I know I haven't had 6000 extra calories! I guess it makes me retain fluid...weird...not happy w/ scale this morning, but know it will get better. I had about 900 -1000 calories, so was pleased with that. It included 96 g protein and not too many carbs.
Today's plan:
lots of liquids...100+ oz. as usual
protein coffee already downed
chicken broth
Atkins drink
decaf coffee w/ sf creamer and splenda
chef salad for lunch
low carb pizza from leftover T-bone steak and veggies on flat bread ovals I found...not many carbs at all
snack if needed: ham and cheese roll or yogurt
What's your plan to be Strict in September (or whatever we're supposed to call it)?

Several names for September had been thrown out there. It doesn't matter to me just as long as I have a place to be accountable. Yesterday I did really well with my water. I was able to drink over 80 ounces.
Today’s plan:
B-coffee, eggs
L-salad, chicken, green beans
D-salad
Water-64 ounces
Exercise-IDK I don’t feel that good this a.m. Maybe I will feel better later and walk my usual 2-3 miles.

Let's see the name suggestions were September: Success, Strategy, Sabatageless, I can't remember them all either but how about "September Sisters for Success".
I was up about 200 calories and ended up 2 oz higher on the scale this morning. That's why I should only weigh once a week.
Plan for today includes
Breakfast: Western bagel with peanut butter
Lunch: Chicken Cordon Bleu, salad
Dinner: hamburger patty, corn

I like Strict September. I was off track a little yesterday, it was my once monthly book club. The hostess served a yummy casserole with green beans, chicken, water chestnuts and cheese. I also had a piece of bread and a piece of angel food cake. But I'm determined to get back on track today. Here's the plan --
Coffee
B - Ham and cheese
L - Spinach and Romaine Salad with ham and cheese
S - Almonds
D - Shrimp, green beans, spinach and romaine salad, SF Jello
Go out and make it a great day.
