B2B-Monday night- Food Log
I am learning to say NO to things that I know I shouldn't eat . I was offered homemade cookies today with a hershey's candy kiss on them 2x today and I said NO to both times...Then was offered a dessert pudding parfa*****pe thing..........and I said NO..........so with having been said - I think that I had an awesome day.................I feel that I did the best that I could and Im happy with
my choices.
I also got on 20 min on the bike at work during lunchtime........10 min...arm stretching, leg curls, etc........ I actually did 2 miles in that 20 min.......knees are killing me....still really sore from the fall last weeek...........thinking I may need to see the doctor after all.

B-day celebration this evening at a mexican restaurant. Instead of chip and cheese sauce prior to dinner..........I had the friends to keep the basket away from me.
I chose Beef fajitas instead of enchaladas ala carte.............did good........I didn't eat the sour cream and I also passed up the tortillas too.....so just beef, pico and onions..........
THEN CAME THE DANG B-DAY CAKE.......VANILLA W/BUTTERCREAM FROSTING....I PUT THE CAKE PIECE UPSIDE DOWN...SQUISHED THE FROSTING INTO THE PAPER PLATE....ATE 3 BITES OF THE CAKE ONLY................NO FROSTING...........PUSHED AWAY - COVERED UP WITH NAPKIN AND THE MINISTER'S WIFE...TOOK IT AWAY FROM ME...........WHOO WHOOO... I felt really good about that choice.........but dang it ,I was feeling really guilty too....
My food log doesn't have this factored in because I didn't know how to log that.....
Got my vits in today as usual..............and got in 124 oz of fluids in today too...................

I'm late posting tonight, but I had book club across town and didn't get home until after 10. I stopped at Half Price Books on the way home to pick up the book for next month's book club.
I didn't do terribly bad today, although dinner was totally in the hands of the book club hostess. She served a chicken, green bean and wild rice casserole with a salad and bread. I will admit that I indulged in dessert - angel food cake.
Not too bad, but probably was actually higher than this since I had to guess at ingredients from dinner tonight.

I went to school straight from work yesterday so this is the first chance I've had to post. I didn't do so well. I started getting sick and now have a monstor of a sinus infection. I don't feel like eating and everything tastes like cardboard! I ended up having only 2 bowls of Progesso Light soups yesterday and 3 shakes which probably were not the best choice with my congestion. I did, however, get in lots of liquids. I feel somewhat better this morning now that I have meds so I am determined to have a better nutrition day.

Karen, where's the PROTEIN??? My suggestion would be to plan out your meals and make sure they include some good solid protein. Do you have a refridge at work? From looking at your meals, it was mainly carbs and unfortunately we know how disasterous eating too many carbs can be. Let me know if there's something specific I can help you with. It also looks like you're not consuming nearly enough calories so logging them will help you keep track.
