My calories were up a little today but so was my protein.  For some crazy reason I was starving all day.  I made good choices and drank 102 oz of SF lemonade so I'm OK with my numbers.

Calories: 1182
Protein 109

Breakfast: chocolate protein drink
Snack: cheese stick, radishes
Lunch 4 oz sirloin steak, one ear of corn, butter spray
Snack: fresh strawberries/pineapple
Dinner: chicken cordon bleu, one ear of corn, one pat of butter

Okay...so I butchered my protein drink this morning...when I got to work and tried to drink it, I almost puked. I don't think I used the Torani's syrup correctly!!!!

Here's what I've got. Any opinions or suggestions, I'd greatly appreciate it!!!!

Kim how are you making your protein drink?  I only add about 1/2 teaspoon of syrup to my drink whether it be a protein drink or Sf lemonade.  (I use SF raspberry syrup).

My food intake is up today also.  I added a protein shake and a STARBUCKS coffee, those are the main reasons.  I did eat 2 peanut butter crackers this afternoon on the way home from work, that's all I had in the car.   For some odd reason I had a hypoglycemia episode and I don't know why.


EDIT:  WOW looking at my intake further, if I had AVOIDED the dang raisin bran in my yogurt my numbers would of been so much better.  It was good (I love raisins) but need to consider something else if I want crunch, maybe the Kaishi cereal?

I am up a bit in my calories as well. I don't know that I had all of the food posted but I am accountable.  My protein was high, but so were my carbs, fat and sugar.  Dern beets and fatty nuts.

I used one tbsp of the caramel flavored... I thought it would go best with the sf choc syrup. Guess not. And I used 12 oz 2% and 1.5 scoops of unjury...I was going to divide the shake in two and have one later in the day or tomorrow morning... NOT WHAT HAPPENED. Threw it all out. Ewww.

Okay...I added a double protein shake to my menu tonight to up my calories and I am paying for it....let's just say my tummy has a voice of its own tonight(you can hear it across the room!)....thought I would give the soymilk another try....it will go down the sink I think....I will be sweating up a storm in a few and in the bathroom all night ...(I know TMI) ...BUT my calories are up!LOL! Thought I did great today on the fat...carbs up a little but protein great these days! I don't think I got this much protein when I was just out from surgery even...thanks for continuing this thread....it happened at the right time for me....

July, did you drink the Advant Edge Protein Shake with the Vanilla Soy?  If so, that's why you felt aweful between the two it's 45 grams of sugar.  Any chance you can get a low carb, low sugar protein drink?

oh...okay...duh! I never even calculated the 2...I am such a brainiac! thanks for noticing!LOL! I will try to find a better protien shake....I had some left over from my protein shake days that was about to expire so I just used it....then in an effort to do something other than regular milk I got the other...never even put the 2 together!~~~
