B2B-Sunday, end of Week ONE
July, I made this Saturday, they are good. You can alter it some to lower the fat but be careful what you do because lower fat could mean higher carbs.
Protein Bars 2 scoops Optimum Nutrition Double Rich Chocolate
1 scoop Optimum Nutrition Chocolate Mint
2 cups Old Fashioned Oats
3 packets Splenda
¼ tsp cinnamon
½ cup 8th Continent Soy Milk
1/3 cup crunch peanut butter
4 oz Low Fat Cream Cheese Allow cream cheese to soften. Mix all ingrediants together until thoroughly mixed. Coat 8 x 8 pan with Pam, pour mixture into pan, level out and refrigerate for at least one hour. Cut into 10 equal sizes. Nutritional Information Calories 155.57 Fat 7.2 Carbs 9.64 Fiber 1.3 Protein 14.15

Hey Steph...YES please continue this thread...It has helped me more than ever...just to be in control of my eating has helped a lot. I know I do not post much during the week but I think about this thread each time I eat....
Not sure what the scale will have in store for me tomorrow; but I will not let it discourage me as I know I have done all right things except flush my system each day with fluids; seems to be really hard for me right now...I'm only getting in about 28 oz a day...and this weekend it was all the wrong kind of fluids or none at all....
What program are y'all using to chart your food intake????
Mine is boring but I would like to know really how much food and calories that I am intaking. I have been trying to stay with in 1,000 calories aday~some days it is hard to do that.
Tomorrows Menu
2 cups coffee with splenda/creamer
B-Yogurt and peach
L-All white Chicken Tender with light honey mustard, season green beans and 1/2 of a red apple
D-Salmon Patties, with Sweet Potatoes, and Left over carrots season green beans
S-Fiber One bar, and Sunkissed Prunes allowing two snacks aday.
My goal this week is to increase my fluids~I have to at least get in 64oz of fluids....
Vits (I've had to increase my cal/patassium this week as both of them are very low right now, due to a minor complication from my thyroid surgery) other than that I have been doing great on my vits and meds...
Good luck to you all I will be here when I can, but know that I am cheering each of you on....WE can all DO THIS!!!

Mel, I use www.sparkpeople.com some use the daily plate, others use the OH one, some use fitday. I'd just pick one and try it. Glad you're with us on this challenge even if you can't post everyday.

RNY revision from lapband 7/30/07...TT/BL 10/9/08 and at GOAL
YES YES YES..........THis has really given ...me new direction....new sense of urgency.......really woke me up and I'm doing so much better.............................after what I did to myself today.not sure I want to get on that scale tomorrow morning...........but I do know that as of this morning.......I was down 10 lbs from last week........so I"ll take it.
I am loging everyting and I'm taking the time and notation to notice how I feel after certain foods.

TONIGHT..................I'M MISERABLE..........PASSED THE STUFFED FEELING..
Went to a 5th Sunday Sing at church.......had fellowship snacks after that.
We all know what that church cooking fellowship meals / snacks make us doo.....huh??? EVIL !!
Okay - so next hour is a new date and time.............tomorrow is another day.......B2B is worrking for me....(((((((((Huggss)))))))))))))))))
I didn't even bother logging today............after lunch it went down hill......Lunch wasn't all that great of a choice anyway......................enough said !!

I guess I should fess up with a feeling I am having....I get to a point where I realize later in the day I haven't had enough calories....BUT I know if I up the calories I am also upping the fat and possible the carbs....it is a mind game for me and I just choose to not add the calories....plus I am not hungry so it is easy to convince myself not to eat it....hard for my mind to wrap around the fact that you have to eat enough calories to lose weight....just a head game I know!~~~
