Ken just posted on facebook and her operation was major (didn't finish til after 10 last night) and she has a huge scar up the middle but all is well. Says she's in a lot of pain but Doc is optimistic.

She definitely deserves a medal of honor after this. And she never really "complains" .... I hope she gets plenty of rest and recouperation time in the hospital. Save the visits for when she's home and feeling better. I know the nurses / doctors / aides bother us enough when we're trying to rest without having visitors all day.

God heavens.

I think Meggie may have outnumbered me in surgeries! Is that possible? I know what she's going through and it's sheer hell.

I'll be looking for an update on what the problem was and what they did to "fix" her!

I have two sides to my brain - a right side and a left side. The trouble is sometimes there is nothing left in the right side and nothing right in the left side.

Poor thing. I hope this fixes her. Cant imagine all she has been thru and still remains optimistic!

Thank you so much Stephanie for the update. I have called Meggie several times but won't go visit her till I hear from her. It takes me about 30 minutes to get to Arlington Memorial but if I know she feels like visitors I will Be There !!! Thanks....guess I NEED to check her facebook page !!!!
