I am not sure if you remember, but I had a 3 week stall that was KILLING me mentally. I was really upset. More so because I was so afraid of failing and then I did a big "no-no" and went on the main forums for help and instead found so many people that claim WLS Surgery failed for them because at 3/4/5 months they stopped losing and they never lost anymore weight. Well, I got really upset thinking that I was one of those people during this stall.
I had a lot of support and joined in on the back to basics... Even though I was already doing it for the most part, but I really stayed focused and tracked my progress online and made more of an effort to increase my protein and my water. Sure enough, my stall broke and I lost 3lbs in the last 3 days.
Now I am only 4lbs away from onderland! I am SOOO excited. I stall every month for 2 weeks before my period and the entire time I am having PMS (pmdd) and this time I really got scared that it was the end for me. I was convinced I was not going to lose anymore weight. It was too good to be true and I was one of those who failed.
I am not going to listen to that hogwash anymore.
Thank you all for your help and support! I would not have made it without you!

Stay away from the Main Board-some of those people are scary.  It's nearly impossible to NOT lose weight after a bypass.  Some lose more slowly but eventually we all end up losing a substantial amt of weight.  So glad you're finding the B2B helpful.  I strongly encourage ANYONE that needs accountability to join us.

I'll be looking forward to your "Onederland" post, it's not far away!!

Thank you soooo much for your support Stephanie!!
You guys are really what keeps me going. If I had to sit here, day after day, on my own and ponder what was going on with my body and what I should eat... I would NOT make it. I really wouldn't.
You guys are a plethera of knowledge and a world of support!
I thank you ALL!

And let me please add - you gotta work it, but it will happen.  You gotta keep away from the fast food and the restaurants if you don't plan ahead for healthy choices.  It's so easy to run in and justify that you need to eat and this little bit won't hurt.  You are new enough to not let let that start.

Not preaching, hoping you stay aware.  All of us oldtimers have learned how easy it can get to stray then we have to work extra hard at getting back.

Wishing you the best on this journey. It is very worth the work!

I agree Becky with the fast food restaurants, I stay away as much as possible.  Even when I do allow the kids a trip to McDonalds I treat myself to an Iced Coffee (non-fat, 3 Splenda)....If the only choice is fast food then it's either a grilled chicken salad (which I can't eat the entire thing) or the Grilled Chicken Wrap and I throw the wrap away.  FFs do tempt me and I've had an occassional one, they aren't as good as they use to be though.

STAY away from the Main Board, negativity breds negativity.  Stupidity breds stupidity.  WLS is NOT a cure all, end all.......it's called a TOOL and just like a hammer or a screw driver in order for it to perform it's job it has to be used correctly.

Congrats on losing those 3 lbs, I look forward to your Onderland post.

Michele...glad B2B is helping you out.  I know it sure has me.  You've got to put your whole heart into it.  We will all stray off track a little from time to time, but keeping to the straight and narrow 95% or more of the time will keep our wt. down.  If it has gone up (and mine has...trying to get it down now), then its no one's fault but our own.  We have to use our knowledge about healthy eating, not our past eating habits.

Yeah for you! - 3 is great.
