Saturday WLS Express

Good morning all!! I peeked out outside-looks like a beautiful day. I'm starting slowly-but I AM starting-refuse to stay in bed (where my HEART wants to stay). I had a super bad headache yesterday. It's my own fault.  I had kinda "bragged" to LIZ the other day about having gone weeks WITHOUT a headache...my bad...I made myself go to Chris's first game last night (Sr year, new stadium, I AM a MOM, after all!!), but could only hold out till half time, and had to come home. I didn't make it to Princess Training or Rise n Shine this morning either...but I do FEEL better...I can see to type now, and I don't feel like throwing up or slitting my wrists!! My Godson, Jesse, has a peewee football game, around the corner, at 10:30. I'm going to TRY to make that one. I refuse to let a headache ruin ALL my fun!!

I sure hate that I have to miss ANNETTE's shower tomorrow...crap...I already had an "engagement" with my ladies charity Sorority group--and it's at MY house, so guess I can't duck out...crap...

I don't think I saw an update on MEGGIE-or I missed it in my drug haze. I don't like calling peeps when they are in the hosptal-they need their rest. If they are bored, they know they can call me. Anyone have an update?

PS: Got new job..day time hours..start Monday morning..use brain instead of muscles...still get to be with pts but not one on one hospice anymore..tell you more later

Oh woe is me!  I have the whole day to myself and no one to play with.     Of course the King men are worse than women at changing plans.  I had planned my entire weekend around them going to the deer lease tomorrow, but nooooo-ooooooo they decide last night they are going to go today! 

I shopped yesterday, my house is in pretty decent shape, not due for mani / pedi until next week and all my friends have plans.  I could be a good daughter and take the hour drive to visit my mother, but that will happen when I can find N-O-T-H-I-N-G within a 200 mile radius to do! 

I'll find something to do - right or wrong - and enjoy my day!

Good morning...okay daily plan says start dusting at 10 am so better post and get going on housework...busy day at home on cleaning/laundry/sewing project.

Jodie...I need a stand in for a family event in Dallas today...You can take Steph with you; wouldn't be 15 minutes from you...you can meet at my niece's apt. and be outside door when she is proposed to and say "surprise" when they ring the doorbell and his and her whole families are standing there and go out to eat to celebrate engagement...she's 28 and we've waited a while for this!   I can't go since Ben's convocation is at A & M tomorrow.  She's going to be so happy.   Be there at 6:58...proposal is at 6:59!
