Another Kohl's Dressing Room Moment

 Why do I always have these moments when I'm by myself?  Can you say size SIX????  Now I KNOW I'm not REALLY a size 6 BUT I tried on 3 different things in a 6 that fit.  Only bought one of them but it was a skirt with NO stretch.  Mostly bought 8's but go figure 2 years ago it was 22-24's and I was happy to find anything I liked. 

I ended up buying 4 capri's, one skirt and 2 shirts for about $45.  Most thing were $5-6 each.  I'm so glad I went shopping for a bridal shower gift cuz I sure found me some bargains. (thanks Annette).

You go Steph!  I miss Kohls, we don't currently have one in Lake Charles, HOWEVER, the mall just announced that Kohls will be here by the end of the year.  I miss Kohls and Foleys (and no not Macys (they ain't as good, lol).

Dana, I was a huge Foley's fan too.  Man I miss their Red Apple sales.  I couldn't believe the bargains yesterday.  Most of my capri's were $32-36 each and were on clearance for $4-6.80 and I had a 15% off coupon for my entire purchase.  I did buy one regular shirt that was $14 that's why my total paid was so high.  So beware, you can turn into a shop-a-holic with a Kohl's close by.

I just ADORE the dressing room woo-hoo's.

Six!  What a mind-blowing, beautiful number.  Congratulations.

Kohl's has some great sales now - picked me up a little black dress for $25 - always wanted one of those cute dresses !!! LOL  Except this is for a funeral of a dear friend   Hopefully the next time I get to wear it will be a happier occasion.

Then I found some great heels to go with it at Target.  Kohl's had some of their Vera Wang's on sale for $20-$30 and the pair I really like wasn't marked.  When I asked at the register they were $69 so I didn't get them. 

Out of all the things I can do now since WLS, wearing heels again ranks up there as one of my all-time favorites.

And YES - if you tried on 3 things that were size 6 and they fit then YOU ARE A SIZE SIX !!!! 

Ooh Sarah, I really want a "little black dress" too.  That's one thing I don't have.  I WISH I could wear heels.  I have the widest, flatest feet in the world.  I can't find any decent shoes that don't kill my feet.  I guess it would look stupid to wear my Crocs with a dress!!

On shoes, I have really wide feet, too.
Though it might make you cringe to go into one of The Avenue stores now that your'e so little, have you tried their shoes??? They have great shoes, in wide width. Their stuff are some of the very few heels that i've been able to wear, even at my heaviest, cause they were just so comfortable.
Just a thought.

Thanks for the idea.  I've never even been in an Avenue store but will certainly try it since I would LOVE to wear some cool shoes.  (Plus I love to go in Lane Bryant now to buy bras and have people stare at me, like "what's SHE doing here"...I often end up talking to people about my surgery and have probably influenced a few to check it out).

Dammit Stephanie - you should've called me.  I was at Macys having my own WooHoo moment!!  I was able to fit in a "real" six, not a WalMart six today!  We could've had the dressing rooms rocking!!

I knew you were a six all along.  You gotta start listening to us people that try to tell you this stuff!!  LOL

Now I may need some help getting this small "cheater" t-shirt off.  It has a built in spanx'ish piece like an undershirt, wowwie it was a chore to get that on over my boobs - I'm probably going to have to call a winch service to help me get it back off when it comes time to get ready for bed!
