The Shakes...
Do you have a monitor to check you blood sugar? I was diabetic before surgery. I was on 3 injections and 12 pills a day. Now I have to be careful because my counts go into the 30's and 40's. If you are working out more you are going to have to up your calories. When I work out I crash. I have to eat a little something before I work out and something after. It is usually a protein bar or protein shake or peanut butter and crackers. That helps me alot. But there are times it just catches me off guard. I start getting really jittery and I have to just eat something that is there. I may have a cookie if that is all I have around me. I just have to do something to stop the sugar from dropping. I will have to watch my periods. I don't know if it gets worse during that time or not.
I hope things get better for you.
I don't have a monitor. I've blown it off in the past...but after yesterday's episode in the middle of walmart, it's got me a bit freaked out :-(
I notice my periods trigger a lot of things (depression, suicide, etc). So it wouldn't surprise me if it effects this too :-(
Oddly, it's in the middle of the day when I'm sitting at work...during working out, I feel great. I dont' get it sometimes.
Although everyone's suggestion so peanut butter has me craving it right now :-)
Thanks Teena :-)
Hugs,
Jessica
