August Adventure Thursday
I did fine yesterday: 2 Atkins drinks...could have left off 2nd one, but got thirsty and didn't want another bottle of water. I took off one more lb. today, -3 so far, so I guess it didnt hurt me. I had a cup of protein coffee (only caffeine in my day usually), at lunch had a cup or less of chinese chicken salad, 1 oz. nuts for snack, 2 oz. steak and some lima beans for dinner, and then a little pnut butter and a few raisins instead of a ham/cheese roll up last night.
Plan for today:
protein coffee...downed already
1 atkins drink
chicken broth
sf black cherry lemonade
plenty of water
decaff coffee
chef salad for lunch
pork butt roast for dinner or a different oriental chicken salad w/ slaw,almonds, grilled chicken in it if I don't want the roast.
ham/cheese roll up for snack if needed

Good Morning Karla & Adventurers,
I am still low carbing and I had a good day yesterday with the exception of getting in my water. I wish I could figure out why that is such a struggle for me. Maybe I need to set my goal for a lower number so that way my brain can wrap itself around it and go for more…LOL.
Today’s plan:
B-coffee and eggs
L-salad
D-salad with meat
Water-32 ounces or more
Exercise-walk 2-3 miles

Plan for today:
Breakfast: 2 slices of turkey bacon
Snack: turkey pepperoni and a 2% moz cheese stick
Lunch: 5 brussel sprouts and 3 oz of ribeye
Snack: not sure better find something to bring
Dinner: 3 oz ribeye and probably broccoli
I wanted to cook the Chicken, Roasted Tomatoe and Broccoli Salad for dinner tonight but alas Cutter's football coach called and we have practice at 5:30 so it'll be to late to cook....run from work, pick them up and off to football practice.
I don't know why I'm not taking time to do a shake a day, lazy is the only excuse. I need to add a good 30 grams of protein today.......I will, I will :).

I deal with the cold office as well. Walk around with a blanket and i'm threatening to get a snuggie in animal print!
Anyway, I want something hot and our coffee is disgusting, so I do hot tea. Never ever liked it, but it's the best option I have and I've learned to really like it. I bring those True Lemon packs and add that as well.

I did better than Tuesday but still didn't get in all my food that I had planned. I had to eat two low carb/sugar yogurts last night for some more calories (100 total) and a bit more protein.
Carbs are way down, protein is up to over 100 and fat is lower. Calories at 950 to 1000.
I can't imagine the calories I was getting in with all the tortillas and pita bread and english muffins I had incorporated in my plans before. I will have to be very careful of that if I decide to work some of that back in.
Lord, this better be working .. lol. But my 'keto' breath is back so maybe it is!

Coffee
B - 1 oz. of Canadian bacon and 1 oz. cheddar cheese
L - 3 oz. ham, 1 oz. Swiss cheese, 1 oz. Munster cheese, 1/2 cup raw Spinach with oil and vinegar
S - Nonfat Cafe Latte
D - 3 oz. grilled flank steak, 1/2 cup Lima beans, 1 cup Radish, Cucumber & Feta Salad, SF Lemon Jello
I'm staying off the scale and hoping for a good result next Monday.

i did good at lunch.. They brought it yummo subs and I ate my chef salad instead. Now i'm on break and hungry, so i'm taking out the meat, cheese and tomato and eating that instead.
