yes on the banana....for sure...I just forgot how high in carbs they were!LOL! That was a grab out the door extra I didn't plan...I have some strawberries for today ... some ideas for a low fat high protein food??? Iam having a hard time..because no matter what every protein food I pick jacks up the fat and make me worry.....but GUESS WHAT??? I got on the scale this morning and I was 2 LBS lower than yesterday morning....won't get too excited because I fluctuate sometime but it was good to see the scale going down for a change! I just can't believe how quickly the lbs creeped up on me!!!Thanks as always for your input...I can always count on you!~~~

Talk about something INgrained in my brain.  About bananas. Someone, think it was a nutritionist or doctor, not sure, told me

"Instead of eat the banana, how about you suck down 3/4 cup of sugar and a pat of butter?? Its the same thing!".   Haven't touched one since.

i saw someone else post a banana on their plan and I freaked out. BUT it's not me and if they can eat it, more power to them. Thankfully I don't care for bananas enough to worry about them.  But I put a fresh peach on my plan today, but it's got 12g of carbs and 11g of sugar.  Those two values make me squirm.  I need therapy for that! lol (well I seriously need it but that's another story.)

hahahaha! thanks for the laugh...I needed it! I remember when I was preg with #1 that I was gest diabetic...they told me then that bananas were a BAD choice.,....I like them but I like other fruit better so no problem!

Just realized that "eggs" were not written on the top line but were counted in days calories...also forgot to add that I had a turkey and cheese stick roll up for breakfast also...probably upped my fat but also my protein and calories....

ok so what do you need help with?
A place to start? you know the rules.   go back to the basics...
Protein, water (no starbucks frappes hon lol) leafy greens, EXERCISE

Do the 5 day pouch test if you think it will get you in the right mindset to get going again.  Track your food. Youre a numbers person.. use Fitday or daily plate and be accountable for EVERY BITE you put in there. that makes a huge diff for me.

Where to start..........plan your intake.  Prepare for the day and stick to it as much as you can.  Join us Jeri, doing something together makes it much easier.

I participate on another board and one of their mottos is........Fail to Plan, Plan to Fail.  I keep telling myself that when I feel like not following what I intended to for the day.

I had an OKAY day, but my food choice at lunch could have been better.  We went to Chipotle because our catered lunch was a no show and only had 30 minutes to get something so we could eat through the afternoon portion.  I did ask for less rice so my total here are probably much higher than what I really ate, but it is just easier to use this than figure what I really ate.  Sadly, I finished it off for dinner.

My calories are about 100 - 150 higher than normal, and my carbs are about 30 higher than I'd like and then nothing needs to be said about the fat.  Chipotle will get you every time.

I got my water and my vit!!!!

Today should be a more realistic view of my diet since I have my lunch packed and ready to go. 

I weighed 313 pounds on December 1, 2008 the day of my RNY surgery and have lost 81% 
of my excess body weight to-date.                                        Current as of November 1, 2009
OH Mini-Challenge Goal for New Year's Day is 170 pounds. 11 pounds to go!

Okay - I had a good day -  I think so...........no veggies nor no fruit........so I'm bummed about that.....
I am having LOTS OF HUNGER..........GO FIGURE..............IT IS NOT HEAD HUNGER because when I feel what I"m having - I stop to assess it to see what it is...........I'm feeding it....but I fed it with allowable things..............maybe not so good of choices....but NO CHIPS...NO ICE CREAM AND/OR ANY OTHER CRAP...............I AM RELEARNING TO SAY NO......................

p.s..  THOSE dang Chik-fil-A breakfast nuggets w/ the little mini breads around them...yummmeo.
