Michele you are about normal for 4 months out.  I was the same way for about the first 6 months and then I was able to eat more.  Now I wonder sometimes if I can stop.LOL 

Your doing GREAT!!  Keep up the good work!!!

Thank you Teena! Did you hit a lot of stalls too? I hit one a month. It is so frustrating. I keep thinking I am doing something wrong. This one I am on now is lasting 3 1/2 weeks and I am PARANOID because I read (on the main RNY board) a bunch of people that stopped losing weight around 3/4/5 months and never lost another pound. That scares me. I am trying SOOOOO hard.

I too stalled about every 3-4 weeks.  I stalled from week 2-5.  That was very frustrating for me.  But after that I lost 20 pounds in about 15 days.  That was honestly the worst time for me.  I didn't feel good at all when I was losing that fast.  What I began to realize was that during those stalls my body was just catching up.  That is when I lost the most inches.  So make sure you are taking your measurments and taking pictures of yourself. 

I lost 65 pounds in 6 months.  It took me another 6 months to lose the other 35.  I'm not sure what you are wanting to lose but the less you have to lose the slower it comes off.  From months 7-10 I think I lost a total of 5-7 pounds but I was still losing inches during that time.  I hit goal at 12 months out.

If I can help you in any way just ask.  Just don't get down on yourself.  You will be successful.  Heck you already are!!!!

Thank you so much for the kind words Teena! I am trying not to be down on myself, but I am so scared at failing it is not even funny. I am paranoid this surgery is just not going to work for me, so the second I stall I freak out. This is the longest stall yet. My nut called today and said my weight loss is fine and that my calories are fine (500/600 a day???). So I guess I am doing everything right. It is just lack of self esteem on my part. Too many years of failed diets & then reading the posts on the main forums where people talk about failed RNY. That creeps me out!

I''ve learned in the journey to stay away from the negative.  Stay here on the Texas board and let the positive people surround you.  I use to go to the main board but there was just too much drama and negativism there.

I don't usually track my intake.  It just takes more time than I'm willing to put into it most days.  But I did it today on OH tracker.  My calorie intake is higher than I want it to be.  I was hungry this afternoon so I added a protein bar to what I had planned today which raised it by 170 calories.  I'll suppress the urge to add it tomorrow.

Here are my results -

Okay...so I put my food from today into fitday...yes, I did splurge and have a twix earlier. But I was soooooooooo proud of me for not dipping into the box of Cheez its in my drawer...yes, I bought them last week...bad me!

 OKAY....Dammit! I need a program that makes it easier to bring my chart over to here...I am tired of messing with the damn thing to make it easier to read!! (sorry...frustrated!) I know my fat was too high (I have  a serious sunflower seed addiction!!) and the obvious fat like using the little bit of  margarine for sauteeing...and the full fat dressing..all of which I will be replacing with healthier choices this week. That damn banana sent my carbs high too. Didn't get enough calories according to Daily Plate...Believe it or not I didn't find myself hungry at all today.....BUT that said...I still had too many diet cokes...drank about 64-70 oz of water though so that is good...got all vits except calcium I forgot. Amazing what happens when I am taking the right iron...I am still wide awake! But excited about my new job too...someone needs to copy and paste PROOF that diet coke is BAD FOR ME!!! Maybe I will listen to reason! I know it but need to see it!!! Anyway if you can read this stupid chart and want to comment go right ahead....I can take it!! BTW....anyone have trouble with Cymbalta and weight gain? I am seriously wondering here....I just CAN NOT gain like I have been....and do NOT see enough difference taking it to make it worth it....

July, your intake doesn't look bad, I'd call yesterday a success day.  The sunflower seeds are a way better choice than some things it could be replaced with.  What I suggest is this.....try to add a high protein food today that is not high in fat content to up your calories and your protein a little more.

As for the Cymbalta, I take it too.  I don't think for me that is what made me put on some lbs but it may be whats making it a little harder to take it off (it isn't the only thing, for me; my eating hasn't been good before the past week).

Is it possible to replace the banana with some type of berries?  And maybe grab a view more shrimp or a small piece of chicken too.
