Terrific Tuesday WLS Express!
Man, I think it's been forever since I jumped on the train - at least it feels that way.
We had a great weekend in Shreveport/Bossier City to celebrate King's birthday. We took $X to "lose" and didn't lose it all ... so I consider that a win! LOL I know, sick way of thinking, but any time we spend Friday night through Sunday afternoon there and come home with money is a win in my books!
This week at work is "Advisory University" - a full 40 hours dedicated to training. There are some classroom type sessions, some online self-study sessions and some webcast sessions. My calendar looks crazy with reminders to log in for the webcasts, but at least I can do that from home. I originally thought I had to go into the office everyday to participate. I should be SO thankful that I have a job, but it's weeks like this that make me wish I had a different job. I need to be busy, with work - mind stimulating work. Found out my name and resume have been submitted on a few different proposals so maybe something will come up soon.
King somehow has managed to break a molar and has to have oral surgery tomorrow to remove the rest of the tooth. Something about the root being located too close to his sinus cavity for his regular dentist to feel comfortable removing it - I guess that's good that they felt the need to send him to someone more specialized, but it also means he'll being going under anesthesia, which means I get to go sit in the surgeon's office while they do it and drive him home. Then the fun will begin while he "recovers" (read - moans and groans about the pain).
Not sure what the rest of the week holds - I'm pretty sure he will be racing Saturday night unless by the grace of God it rains. I think he has plans Sunday with his dad, brother and nephew to start the process of taking their deer stands and feeders to the lease close to Brownwood. Pretty sure I'll be sitting that trip out! I'm not all about getting a good dose of chiggers! LOL
Feeling a little down in the dumps for some reason. I can't put my finger on it. Relatively sure it's job related - either the lack of mind-stimulating work or being home too many weeks in a row. I need the hustle and bustle.
I've been doing fairly well with food choices and still am managing to lose a pound here and there, I'm fine where I'm at and I actually saw it in the mirror this weekend. I AM THIN!!! I had had a few drinks (not that I'm an advocate for over-indulging), but we often hear that a drunk man says what a sober man thinks ... well I'm thinking a drunk woman sees what a sober woman can't see .... I saw thin this weekend, really I did. At least it wasn't pink elephants!
I hope everyone has a great day and remainder of the week. I'm back to self-studying until 2pm, then a webcast. YEA. Can't wait.

Hello, everyone. Sorry to hear about the aches and insomnia and broken molars, but if it isn't that, it'd be something else, huh?
I didn't post anything yesterday, but I read the entire thread. I got hit with some unexpected work and it kept me distracted. I stuck with my pledge of vitamins and water yesterday, but today I realized I didn't exercise. Not that I refused to. It simply didn't cross (what's left of) my mind! Aarrgghhh.
Today, I will wiggle, even if it kills me!
Best blessings to all.
