Hey I'm with you all~my problem is here lately I just have not been eating; not appetite just drinking lots of coffee; I'm on what I call the manic HIGH of getting things done; and school right now is at the top of my list!!  I have found myself just grabing and taking a few bites and throwing them away...no planning what so ever in my world the last couple of weeks...but thank the lord above NO weight gain either~

I have been sitting her going back over recipes and making my shopping list; making my week night by night dinner calendar  and making sure I have plenty of good food ready at work!!!!

My plan for the week is;
* stay in control
* no more two bite meals; sit down and eat a well balanced meal
* continue to exercise with my water buddies
* take my water bottle to work and drink two of them during the day
* respect myself enough  that I had this surgery for a life time change!

Wishing each and everyone of you that are here inthe challenge a very successful FIRST week!!

Love you all bunches
Mel :)

I know time is tight with you back in school but post when you can.  I'm on both day and night so I will ALWAYS read what everyone writes.  Be careful with that coffee~don't need you getting an ulcer.  You hit the nail on the head when you said "sit down and eat".  I tend to grab and eat on the run and that's not a good way to do it.  Might need to add that to my goal list.

Stephanie, What kind of chicken breasts did you get?  I'm going to Costco and Sams this afternoon and wanted to check them out.

They are "Member's Mark" (Sam's brand) Mesquite Grilled Filets.  Not cheap but the convenience is worth it.

I'm in ... as a matter of fact ... I'm still in.  I started last week and have stuck to it faithfully except for a "mini" popcorn at the movies yesterday.  I'm down 3 pounds and expecting to be down more this week.  I'm up for 40 days of commitment like Becky.  I'm feeling better after getting most of the sugar out of my diet.  My shopping is done, my meal plans are written down, I'm ready to stick to it.

My goal ... lose 12 more pounds for a total of 15 since I started last week.  I'm sure I can do that before the conference.  So count me in.

Just a reminder for everyone, if you cut out most carbs, your water is even more important.  High protein diets are hard on your kidneys.  Be sure you keep your commitment to drink more water.

Vicki-fabulous job this past week.  Wow you've actually written down meal plans.  Now I'm IMPRESSED!!  That's something I never do.  I do plan in my "brain" what I'm goping to eat the next day but I never actually write it out.  Hmm, lots of good suggestions coming out of these posts.

STEPH-as you get further in the book, she talks about planning, journaling. I'm just now doing some stuff differently..and it is REALLY helping-even with my erratic eating/sleeping schedule.

Steph,

I am with you.  Now that I am at goal I am so worried that I will gain back.  This is as you say NOT AN OPTION!!!!!  So count me in.

NOW...WHO WANTS TO JOIN ME????
Well - as Donkey would say on Shrek...........PICK ME PICK ME PICK ME !!!

My life for the past month has just been crazzeeee....many of you all don't know that................but it will be getting better and soon..........very soon...................

Plan for the week:

1) PROTEIN FIRST..............

2) After the 60 oz of green tea - the rest of the day is WATER !!!.

3) Learn to say "NO to the things that I've been saying YES too in the past couple of months!!

4) Get away from my desk at least 2 times each day for time-out for ME........ read a magazine....go for a few steps (since I'm on the 14th floor) - I could get in a few flights of stairs....

5) Read on my new 6-8 books I bought at the Women of FAith Conference this week - since I hate reading.............this will be a challenge...........but it will be part of "me" time......working on the ME aspect........why I'm doing what I'm doing.........etc..........Gotta love me first !!

6) - Diarying......food...............I'm terrible at this because I always start the day good...and then lose the list through out the day and then just decide  - just forget it !!

The scale issue is NOT an issue with me........but I would like to try to stick to this "basics" for 40 days..............etc... .

LUV YOU ALL ((((((((((HuggsS))))))))))))))))))))
If you all don't see me much during the week............I apologize...but I will try to get on at least 1x to touch base on here............   no promises...new neighbors at work..................not sure I can sneak on.
