Back to Basics Monday-who wants to join me?
Kim, the "August Adventure" is a thread we start on THIS board every day. We just post there what we've eaten and how we're doing. Please jump in everyday and post so we can keep up with how you're doing.
Just a suggestion: When I struggle with my water intake I put 6 bottles of water in my refridge at bedtime each night and don't go to bed the next night until I've drank them all and refilled them for the next day. That's an easy way to get in almost 100 oz each day.
I also "crunch" on raw carrots and radishes. The carrots have carbs but for me it often satisfies that need to crunch something.
Please introduce yourself to us at the conference. Sometimes we get so caught up in renewing friendships we miss the opportunity to make new friends.

Some people may be thinking...why would someone lose all that weight to start to eat like that again??? (your first paragraph practically describes me...except I drink water AND diet coke)...but I will say...it is WAY EASIER than you would think to fall back into the old patterns of eating again. And there are a million reasons why it happens....not taking the time to plan, using food for comfort, trying to get quick fix energy from the carbs(even though you will crash)...eating in a hurry....and on and on...good luck Monday...and remember...we CAN do HARD stuff...(thanks for that Yvonne...I have used it many times)....and we CAN do ANYTHING for 24 hours at a time....

Im with you on something. I gotta get thru this move first, but will be done by then. Just chiming in for now, no plan in place at the moment, other than the usual of protein first, etc and so forth.
yall keep talking about the becks diet solution, maybe i need to look into that. I know at least with Living with LL full time, she doesnt let me have soda (thank god for that lol) coz i was getting in to the diet dr p habit again.
Can i get back to you on my plan later? i know logging my food is included and i need to set and goal and so forth. Stopped at the PCP here in Katy to get soem meds refilled and she again told me i needed to loose 40 more lbs. Im not really sure about that much, im thinking 20 or so.
Anyway, been a hella day, but wanted to say im in, just not sure on what yet lol

No gain here (had a slight gain with the pneumonia, but lost it, thank the lord). still wanna get down about 20 more. I think 40 is too much and i would look haggard and icky lol.
