Got a Second Chance to Make a First Impression!
One of the managers was down from Chicago for a project meeting and I have met him and talked with him very briefly a couple of times over the past 8 years since we were bought out. Yesterday I sat next to him in the project review meeting and he introduced himself to me and said he had heard about me but hadn't met me yet. I just smiled and introduced myself also.
Inside I was laughing my butt off because he didn't recognize me !!!! Understandable since we had only met a few times but it still made me laugh. I thought about how great it was that I got a second chance to make a "first" impression.

AWESOME! Isn't that great when someone doesn't recognize you?? Great way to say that too....a second chance to make a first impression. How cool is that?

That is so cool!! Good for you!! I went back to the school I used to teach at on Thursday. Only a few of my friends there have seen me since my surgery (I've lost 150+ pounds since I taught at my old school). About half had heard about my weight loss, but many did not recognize me. It was great!! : )
