August Adventure Friday
I ate a few too many sweets yesterday...otherwise was okay...fish for dinner hung in my throat so that kept me from eating last night!
Today's plan:
16 oz. protein coffee...downing it right now
20 oz. chicken broth
+ lots of water in between (24 oz.)
Atkins protein shake
unsure for lunch
going out to eat for dinner
maybe not my best plan...but starting Monday will be great!

I got back to my basics yesterday and I stuck with my plan. My honey and I walked 2 miles. I really need to work on the water intake. I can never seem to get it in.
Today's plan:
B-Coffee for now...
L-Salad
D-Baked fish, green beans or salad
Water-64 ounces
Exercise- 2/3 miles of brisk walking

Good Morning Karla! Yesterday went well again, I feel so much better. Scale just moved .3 lb but that's ok it's moving in the right direction.
Today will be a little more challenging. IDK why my company decided to "treat" us today, they never do that, lol, but there will be kolaches w/sausage cheese and jalapenos for breakfast (I'll skip this I hope) but I've got 2% string cheese and turkey pepperoni and think I can avoid the koloches.
Then for lunch they are bringing in the BEST hamburgers in Lake Charles with homemade onion rings *sigh*. I do have a plan to share a hamburger with a co-worker and not eat all the bread....focus, focus, focus PROTEIN first. The onion rings will be quite challenging however I hope to fill up on the hamburger insides and maybe eat 2-3 onion rings only.
Dinner will be easy as I have country style ribs and smothered okra planned.
So my game plan is set, hopefully the voice in my head that says "it's ok, just one day" will keep quiet.
I'm definitely ready for the weekend.

I slept through breakfast
L - Chef salad
S - Turkey and cheese roll up
D - Depends on where we go, but some kind of lean fish or meat with a green vegetable
Dessert - protein shake
Sticking to the back-to-basics plan. I'm not going back to potatoes, rice, bread and candy. I will get rid of at least 12 more pounds before I let up.
