TGIF WLS Express!

Good Morning All,
A nice rainy morning.  Started around 1:45 this a.m. and rained hard for about 30 mins.  Since then it's been just a little.  We needed it so badly.  Today is just the beginning of non-stop for the weekend.  Charlotte's birthday party is in the morning.  A dozen little 5 yr. olds plus their mother's and younger siblings!!  We have family coming in from La. too.  Got to do the cake today.  Nothing as elaborate as the purple castle cake this time.  Just a swimming pool with sun bathers and pool toys.  Glad she wanted something simple.  I need some kind of vacation.  The weekends are just as busy as the weekdays!  Hope everyone has a great weekend.

I love listening to it rain - now, the 80# german shepherd in my lap, not so much!  He is such a wuss when it comes to thunderstorms!!!

Evidently everyone around here had meet the teacher last night, too.  I ended up substitute teaching a muscle flex class last night because all of the other instructors were out.  Funny thing is there were only 5 participants and usually we have more than 20.  The who gym was silent and creepy empty.  Of course I came home exhausted and sore.  I was in bed before 9pm. 

I am only working a half day.  DD is getting her wisdom teeth cut out this morning at 10am and I plan on playing the part of nurse, maid and whatever else she needs for the remainder of my day.  I hopeful that she'll sleep through most of it, but you never know.

Get a couple bags of frozen peas.  They work great as ice packs on wisdom teeth cuz they stay cold and form to the face well.

Hmmmmm.....meet the teacher......Oh, yeah!  I remember doing that eons ago!!!!!

Well, whatever is going on with my tummy wasn't something stuck because it's still going on.  It started at dinner on Wednesday.  It acted like something was stuck but my tummy is still having issues.  I'm wondering now if I have a tummy bug or food poisoning.  It came on suddenly like something stuck does but I still can barely eat.  It actually hurt worse when I take in liquids.  I tried soup for dinner last night and it came back up.  UGH!!  The crackers I ate later did stay down.  Go figure.  Hopefully I'll start feeling better cuz the weekend is almost here.

Good morning Train Riders!  Today is a great day!  It's Friday, my car only needed a zip tie for the broken piece and an oil change, and I'm feeling great.  Super busy at work today, I planned on doing some work at home last night but I was too tired so vegged out on the sofa instead.  Jeff and I watched a bad scifi movie - Rise of the Gargoyles.  LOL, it was entertaining but cheesy.

Tonight we're going over to the in-laws for dinner and hanging out.  Tomorrow I'm getting my hair cut, or rather trimmed.  I'm attempting to grow it out long so as long as I get something done to it that makes it look decent I'll be happy.  Not much else planned for the weekend.  We have some budget planning to do and I need to start thinking about what to get ready for my trip to DC.

Howdy, y'all.  We didn't get as much rain as some of you - maybe about 5 minutes worth, but MAN was it loud!  Glad to see it though.

I'm watching hummingbirds chasing each other away from the feeder.  Too funny.
