Back where I was at this summer, tennis is not a popular sport at the high schools up there as basketball and volleyball seem to be what the kids focus. I was talking to a few parents up there at the club where the girls played over the summer and most of them were like, "uh, if a kid just shows up they are on"! Some of the kids don't even own a racquet and the school loans them one!!! hehehe..

Congrats Jill. Of course my children are grown but I have twin grandsons that are seniors at Meridian High School and they are Varsity football boys.. Living in the Dallas area and and trying to get to any of their games is going to be a challenge but I have told them that I plan on at least making one game.. If you don't know, Meridian is near Lake Whitney.. I think that they had a scrimmige last night and don't know how that went.. Hopefully they won.. Ok that is my input.. Have a great day!!
