August Adventure Thursday
Okay...if someone else is up and at 'em first...please start the post, especially starting Sunday because I doubt I'll have time then. It is all of our post, not mine...it was the famous TV star Steph's idea to start it in January and it has been a good thing for all of us.
Today's plan:
100+ oz. liquids as usual
protein coffee...16 oz. drinking now
20 oz. chicken broth
Atkins lo carb shake
poppyseed chicken for lunch
fish for dinner since hubby is coming home to see Ben off to A & M
What's your plan?

Good Morning Karla & TMB,
Thank you for continuing this post (thanks to Steph too). I really appreciate it. Yesterday was not a good day. I had an OFF day and had just about anything I wanted to have. I will not do any name calling of food because it was all CARB HEAVY. Usually when I have a carb overload, I wake up with a headache the next day. But I don't have one so that is a good sign that I did not do too bad.
Today's plan:
B-Coffee, eggs
L-Greens, pork chop
D-Salad
Water-64 ounces

I'm doing another day of the protein/green challenge. Getting back on track was not as easy as I would have hoped. Life kept throwing me hurdles yesterday, but thanks to Yvonne's poste earlier this week I just kept thiking to my self "I can do hard things."

I did great yesterday on the back-to-basics challenge. I did not eat any crackers, pasta, rice, bread or candy. I feel so much better today to have all that unhealthy stuff out of my system. I feel more in control mentally and my body feels better, too.
Here's my plan for today:
B - 2 slices of Canadian bacon, 1 egg, 1 slice of tomato
S - Protein shake
L - Shrimp, zucchini and peppers (leftover from last night)
S - Cheese, ham and pickle roll-up
D - Salad and one slice of pizza, a lite beer
I'm doing the "carb" challenge again today, but I forgot that we have a date with friends for pizza and beer.
