"The Challenge" anyone willing to continue today?
Guess what? The scale is down 3 lbs today, yes I know it's water weight but it's down and I am taking it. My surgeon told me when I feel out of control if I take one week and do the lean meats, green leafy veggies I'd feel control and restriction again. Yes was amazing how little I actually needed to feel full.
Today I'm planning to eat:
Breakfast: turkey pepperoni
Snack: ham roll-up with dill pickle
Lunch: talapia with crab meat and brussel sprouts
Snack: ham roll up if hungry (yesterday I couldn't eat a snack)
Dinner: talapia with crab meat and steamed spinach
I did get in 70 oz of water yesterday which is a plus will work on the 80 today. ALL vitamins went in too.
Grade for yesterday: "A" hooray

today I am aiming for
shake (drinking it now)
half saug patty, egg n one whole wheat pancake
coffee shake - did that yesterday and it was awsome and filing and rich tasting
salad with meat, boiled egg and cheese 4 triskets
shake
2 meat balls with half slice of ww toast
chicken with squash,onions and possibly spinich
another coffee shake this one decaf (at a meeting tonight b/c they will have tons of cookies and junk out)
LIFE IS GOOD
I know what I need to do - I have to choose to take care of me or I choose to fail
I haven't hit the scale this AM....hit coffee early so I will have to wait to see the digits on the scale to a little later. I did very very good yesterday IMHO. I exercised for a hour....started reading Beck Diet Solution for the second day and starting making my cards. I feel totally in control again...that is a "GREAT" feeling too !!!
Here is what I am planning on eating today:
B - 1 cup Kashi hi protein cereal w 1% milk
S- some blueberries if I feel I need a snack
L- 2 slices of FF cheese and 2 slices of OM Smoked turkey breast lunch meat rolled up.
S- 1 high protein yogurt if I feel I need that snack
D- grilled talipia and steamed veggies.

B: coffee (no? ok, well I'll add an egg beater omlette with lf cheese and ham)
S: microwaved turkey bacon for some crunch
L: leftover meatloaf with mixed green salad
S: melted roll ups with pastrami dipped in hot mustard
D: pork loin with very well cooked broccoli

Several of us in the chat decided we were ready for another day. And since I eat reruns always have them, I figured I would do it again. Scale is down not nearly enough (lol) but it's not going up.
Tomorrow is my big FANCY lunch for Assoc. of the month at Thundercloud Subs.. woo hoo. So aside, from that diversion, I do hope to keep at it.

Of course I am a late starter. I did chat with others last night about doing better. I have got to learn to plan and to do things better. My freezers are full of CRAP that I probably won't eat in a million years. I love baked Talapia and I don't do that nearly enough. One of my problems is I really have an addiction cause I like the things that go with it like rice. Now there is a rice that I truely love from uncle bens and it is wild and long grain rice and it is very good.
I don't know. I just will do my best to cut back from what I have been doing lately and try to get on the train so to speak with the rest of you in knowing what I need to be doing.
I never let myself learn the right things to do post surgery. Thanks to all of you for always being here for me to come home to.
