I have a hot date!!!
Honestly, I'm trying, super hard, but I'm having trouble. I just don't think about it. I think I'm going to have to start setting alarms to remind me of when to eat and when to drink. I've never been not hungry before. It's so easy to forget that I need to eat, and, when I do, I can't get enough in to make up what I've missed.
Enjoy not being hungry because for most people it doesn't last! Dang it !!!!
I went back to work at 2 weeks and had to watch the clock to tell me when to eat - such a weird feeling, to be sure. My hunger came back at around 3 months but it is different for everybody. Some sooner, some never. It isn't like before when I was pre-op, though (thank goodness!) just enough to remind me to eat but if I ignore it and keep working it doesn't bother me.

I wish I could enjoy it, but I actually *want* to feel hungry! At least it would give me some kind of internal awareness that it's time to eat. I'm not getting enough, and I think it would make it easier if my body was telling me to eat. I don't want to be hungry all the time like I was before, I just want a little nudge that says "Hey! Time for protein!"
